Looks alright. I'm not a super fan of Megaman, but I enjoy it. Why even mention the Vita? lol Its coming out for every platform known to man kind.
Never played a Mega Man game in my life. Might as well give this a shot.
damn dude, I'm surprised by this

You should play Megaman X or Zero (use emulators if you don't have the console) and give thema try. They're pretty good.
Great combination of shooting and platforming.
I grew up with Megaman and I also have been following Inafune's work for years.
For example, I enjoyed and own all his Onimusha titles (shame they never did an HD port for these games for the younger gen that missed them) and other titles he's put out. Definitely interested in this. Many of the 3D graphics generation (PS1/N64/PS2/Dreamcast/GC/Xbox) don't have the respect for Megaman and Japanese developers and all the inspiration the MM series has brought to developers which is a shame. I hope the game fares good due to the resurgence of indies and 2D gameplay.

did you contribute to the kickstarter?
The full list of platforms getting Mighty No. 9:
@charizard1605: Kickstarter was reaaaallllyyy successful for this. Hopefully more games reach that amount of success so they hit all those platforms.
Well, when you have a well liked name like Keiji Inafune, compared to a hated name like Dennis Dyack, it's bound to happen.
@GreySeal9: Nah man. You literally are doing that shtick of yours where you get mad people like what you don't like. Not the first time we've seen it. My post didn't lack context.
Doesn't matter if the game's coming to a lot of systems, you obviously targeted the innocent joke as compared to posting about the game. Your post just sounded the funniest out of all the similar ones. It's all good. :)

Haha the bit about Vita was a joke? Unless the TC is parodying his Vita cheerleading, I'm failing to see the humor.

That's a loaded question that requires a complete breakdown on my belief system and how I operate if I say no. I don't operate by giving money on faith to businesses because while I tracked Inafune for decades (including all the Capcom drama and his rivalry with Shinji Mikami another ex-Capcom developer I like), Keiji Inafune has also let me down with his some of his products. Not to mention the entire Mighty No. 9 fiasco and his company's poor choices in their newly hired Mighty No. 9 community manager and other hires (which is a whole different issue). I'm not going to finance that. He's hit and miss with me when it comes to his products, but when he did have the most impact in my life it was his early work (like the original Megaman and Megaman 2 which were iconic for me and even modern devs). As I said, I hope the game fares good because if it does, I'll buy it, but this is not Megaman it's a new product from a guy that I respect but doesn't always deliver...and because of this, this new IP I'll be tracking and hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Giving kickstarter money freely to a business for a product that isn't released is not preparing for the worst. It's too faith oriented and goes against my financial principles and the way I was raised. I know others are into it and like religion, they are free to be as enthusiastic about their choices, but kickstarters are not for me. It's not that I don't have the funds, it's that I don't like the proposition before me.
As far as kickstarters, I don't support those for a whole list of reasons I'm not going to re post here (it's not up for debate and I'm not going to argue on kickstarters in here), but to each their own.
The support I will provide is buying the actual product, IF It's worthy to me, and that is good enough for me. I hope it's great as I'd love to add it to my collection. It's a trade: I buy a finished quality game I'd enjoy for money I worked hard for. Involving kickstarters and financing products, nope, I'm not doing that and if I were, it wouldn't be for this project.
This entire post is just skimming the surface on many deeper issues that I won't go into here, but rest assured I've considered at great length.
I hope this does well so capcom can look stupid. I still dont get why they didint let this man make a megaman game.

yea im surprised out of all the re releases that were done onimusha was overlooked. The funny thing is if you followed the plot there was still room for sequels.
Never ? That's rather odd I must say, maybe you ain't into retro platformers.
I just haven't played every game released so far.
I've had access to it for months.
I'm going to let you guys know up and front.
Throw your expectations of "The Next Megaman Game" out the window. It's similar, but far from being a Megaman.
It looks ugly and nothing like the original Kickstarter proposal. I was under the impression it would be 2D and not this gross 2.5D abomination. No thanks.
