we all know ea is a huge supporter on blocking used games so could this have made a rift between sony and ea?

Oh, and I wouldn't worry about the game being X1 exclusive, doesn't fit with EA's business model, which is to expand and be availible on all platforms...

Naw, not really The cell for the PS3 in theory more powerful but crazy hard to devlop for, so PS3 was held back. Also PS3 only had 256MB of ram to use for games. So The GPU and CPU were not a big deal for PS3.

Next Gen PS4 is doing everything right. Easy to devlop for and far more power than Xbox One. So yeah MS is going to buy loads of timed exclusives starting out and around mid next gen they will become Lazy and release less games, exactly what they have done with the last two systems.

Different situation. EA can afford to publish titles on their own, as was the case with Mirror's Edge.

Platinum hasn't published their own titles. They take their works to publishers. SEGA has more than half of their titles, Konami published Metal Gear Rising and Nintendo is publishing The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2.
