Missed Gems This Gen

So as we near the end of the current generation what games do you think most people missed out on and should play before moving on? I'll start with Demons souls, yes a lot of people have palyed it but a lot of people have only played Dark souls without trying demons souls. I found it a lot better than dark souls. Theres something cosy about the nexus that just made me feel safe despite the dangerous world.

Glad to see The Saboteur has been mentioned alot. Such a hidden gem that I forgot to mention it. Totally blew my expectations. It was flawed, but extremely fun. Atmosphere is one of the best especially the soundtrack.

Judging by the sales I'm guessing that quite a few people never tried out Lost Odyssey on Xbox 360. That's one of the best games I've played this generation. The review averages at gamerankings and metacritic amaze me. Game was more like a 95% imo. A lot of critics that reviewed it played a beta that had some problems and they never bothered to update their scores when the game shipped minus the problems, or that's what I've heard anyway. I don't even play a lot of Japanese RPG's, FF13 being the only other one I've played this gen (Decent but definitely not on LO's level). But that one I really liked.

Another one is Witcher 2 on Xbox 360. Great game that hasn't sold nearly as well as it deserves to.

Recently? Knytt Underground is available on PSN, is amazing, and nobody talks about it. El Shaddai is a true gem that not many have tried.getyeryayasout

Haven't even heard of Knytt, it looks good. I'm going to give it a try.

It's a huge (1800+ screens) Metroid-Vania, charmer. To me it's easily worthy of full priced purchase, there's just a ton of game there.

Oh cool it's for the Vita too. I might get it soon! Thanks for the heads up.
