[QUOTE="marioraider"][QUOTE="Teufelhuhn"][QUOTE="Michael85"]God forbid Miyamoto be entitled to his own opinion? ZOMG, Miyamoto hates it! Teh end of teh Haze!!!
I guess the real fanboys are the ones who get bent all out of shape over a few comments that won't affect a damn thing back in a little thing we call "reality". Miyamoto can say whatever he damn well pleases about any game he damn well pleases because he's earned the right to do so.
I mean if you can't handle one man's opinion, then maybe you shouldn't be entitled to your own.

The problem isn't one man's opinion. The problem is that this opinion represents the current philosphy held by Nintendo towards their games. He's the lead visionary for the biggest gaming software maker in the world, and what he says is very telling about their direction in video games. They want to be Disney, and they're pulling it off.
But here's the thing, is being a Disney-type company really THAT bad? Leave the real world games to Microsoft and Sony, because violence are mostly presentin their games. That sells their systems. Nintendo makes the fantasy stuff and the casual stuff. I'm all for both types if you ask me.
I'm not trying to say that having a Disney in the gaming world is a bad thing, as much as it might sound like I'm saying that. I mean it works for movies, I don't see why it can't work for games. I just don't want every development studio in the world following Nintendo's lead, that's all. :D
Of course, we need our bloody dark-side games too! Trust me, Sony and Microsoft know what their audience like, and they aren't going to switch gears just because Nintendo is making more cash.
