Good. Now, Mr. Miyamoto, all you need to do is look at Starfox 64, figure out why that game worked, and do the same thing again.

Well then, if that's what it takes! :PAs a huge Star Fox fan, I'm in no way in hell, getting my hopes up. Every time Miyamoto keeps hinting at it makes me want it less. Not to mention, Miyamoto said that he wasn't certain about new Star Fox's in the future due to it's popularity in Japan.
[QUOTE="SparkyProtocol"][QUOTE="resevl4rlz"]Quiet, Starfox is in a whole 'nother league. :D Yea star fox is in a lower league...where is my pikmin 3 and 2 for the wii

Wii fans are certainly not lacking for games or desperate, except when a supremely average series is even slightly hinted at they go wild begging their masters for it.
Are you sure you don't want new IPs? You want the next starfox and the next Pikmin and the next god anything from the past anything, let's throw a name out there kirby? Heaven forbid they come up with something new and heaven forbid anyone suggests the wii is lacking in games in spite of the above behaviour.
Starfox 64 is an amazing game, and people want a sequel that truly lives up to it. How does that indicate any of the things you just said?Wii fans are certainly not lacking for games or desperate, except when a supremely average series is even slightly hinted at they go wild begging their masters for it.

Oh I dare. The only StarFox I was 64, and I loved it. Not as much as Pikmin 2, still fantastic. Hopefully a new starfox does come out for Wii... Well it goes Pikmin>Starfox>F-Zero.[QUOTE="DarkLink77"][QUOTE="DaViD_99"] Yea star fox is in a lower league...DaViD_99

Quiet, Starfox is in a whole 'nother league. :D Yea star fox is in a lower league... Star Fox is probably Nintendo's best IP imo.I gave up on this back in 08 and I honestly don't care anymore about rumors. If it comes out, I'll buy it, simple as that.
PS: There's no hint, all he's saying that he WOULD like to work on one. You guys are assuming on things that may not be true. If anything, Pikim 3 is coming first and even that has been on hiatus for 2 years now.

who cares about new IP"s! im tired of hearing that they usually fail anyway and are financially risky star fox is a good series and many fans love it im certainly excited for a star fox game
[QUOTE="DaViD_99"][QUOTE="SparkyProtocol"] Quiet, Starfox is in a whole 'nother league. :DDead-MemoriesYea star fox is in a lower league... Star Fox is probably Nintendo's best IP imo. nah fzero is way better.. outside of the handheld games there has been no crap game
[QUOTE="DaViD_99"][QUOTE="SparkyProtocol"] Quiet, Starfox is in a whole 'nother league. :DDead-MemoriesYea star fox is in a lower league... Star Fox is probably Nintendo's best IP imo. Ptfff... My dream Star Fox game is probably 2 campaigns, Fox team and Wolf team. Both campaigns are different, and are twice the length of SF64. There are branching path ways, and stuff like that. Both also have 4 play co op, online and off. And there are some dog fighting online stuff... But NO underwater levels. So frustrating in 64...

imo, F Zero & Star Fox are one of those Nintendo IP's that are simply HD babies. Imagine those 2 on HD...:o

Probably more along the lines of the fact that Star Fox never got out of his ship, unless ofcourse it was to climb into a tank or a sub.Dude, Star Fox was born a spaceship shooter, not a Zelda clone. (Although Star Fox Adventures was a great game, it still was in the genre games like Zelda are in).If Nintendo makes a proper Star Fox game like Star Fox Adventures, I'm buying it.

That's exactly why I want it like a Zelda clone ;) I'm not a huge fan of shmups. Star Fox on the SNES made me dizzy and I didn't like Star Fox 64.
