People still want a Starfox game?RTUUMM

It's better than having another Mario, Zelda, Metroid game, which had multiple games coming out this gen.

nah fzero is way better.. outside of the handheld games there has been no crap game

imo, F Zero & Star Fox are one of those Nintendo IP's that are simply HD babies. Imagine those 2 on HD...:o

uh.. okay.. why are those HD babies.. what i want from f zero is blazing speed.. that can be done with gamecube style power just fine.. and with starfox.. its basically a onrails shooter... once again games like panzerdragoon or sin and punishment 2 have proven that wiis graphics power is just fine for those games.. sure better graphics would be even better. but nintendo decided not to go HD this time.. so waiting until the next console for fzero and starfox.. hell no

pikmin 2 is already out (for ages actually) and pikmin 3 is in development..

they didnt release number 2 with wii controls, but only japan got the release

and europe.. use geckoos.. you can find pikmin 2 pal rather cheaply..

Dude, Star Fox was born a spaceship shooter, not a Zelda clone. (Although Star Fox Adventures was a great game, it still was in the genre games like Zelda are in).

That's exactly why I want it like a Zelda clone ;) I'm not a huge fan of shmups. Star Fox on the SNES made me dizzy and I didn't like Star Fox 64.

if you want a zelda clone.. just play zelda..no need to ruin other franchises

So, they STILL haven't gotten started on it? Honestly, what is SO hard about improving on Star Fox 64 that's inhibiting Nintendo? The truth is, there IS NO excuse. It's just Nintendo being lazy. I swear that if this is like B-K N&B (A game that took a REDICULOUS amount of time to make, AND it was exactly what most people DIDN'T want), I'm going to be EXTREMELY pissy.

Agreed, but it's a love/hate game though.

I can understand not liking Star Fox Adventures purely as a Star Fox game, but as a game overall, it was a very strong one, and it was really the last high point in the series.

Ruin? What's there to ruin? Look at Metroid Prime : Other M. Why can't Star Fox get that treatment? An on-rails game for the Wii is a recipe for poor sales. Not to mention, there isn't any freedom in an on-rails game. This series really needs a reboot and a proper action adventure or RPG title of Star Fox is the best way to bring it back.

It won't sell 5 million copies on name alone... and it won't appeal to a general audience. It is a more core-focused game that must be too much of a risk for Nintendo to want to make a new game.

I'm quite surprised both Corruption and Other M were even made this generation. I guess Nintendo has higher hopes for the Metroid name than the likes of Star Fox and F-Zero. And I was being hyperbolic... to overemphasize Nintendo's focus on money-making and less on good-game making.

Yes I see. I remember reading something, I think Nintendo wants to keep making metroid until it reaches the 2 mil mark. That is what they hope to get I think. Don't quote me on it though.
