Thats a joke right..? YOUR JOKING RIGHT?! MARIO, ZELDA, DONKEY KONG, PIKMEN, STAR FOX!!!!!! THATS WHAT HE MADE!

Anyways, this actually seems like a good thing since he really wasn't doing anything in that role he had just supervising making sure everything went well. Now he will actually be making games again! What was the last game he worked on..?Ocarina of Time..?I know Anouma took over after OOT (personally I don't like anouma that much...)

This isn't horrible news. He'll still make good games where he'll be at and Nintendo's got plenty of talent besides him.

maybe Sony will follow suit and make Kevin Butler step down to game designer position. You know, the creative mind behind... Um... Gimme a sec... What did he ever... It's gotta be someth... Kevin Butler, the creative mind behind... I'm sorry, I'm drawing a Blank with this Butler. Maybe he should stick to cleaning the house. It suits him better.

Or maybe Ken Kutaragi. You know, the CEO of Sony's gaming department, yeah the same guy that bought a Nintendo DS over the Sony PSP.

I don't think he is retiring. Whereas over time he has become strictly a game designer with the advancement of technology, I think now he wants to become more hands on with the design aspect as well as its development.

Miyamoto knows that the same old formula is'nt working no more and people are starting to see through that.

Maybe he'll make an entirely different game.

Besides, he's made his money, easily.
