Of course it can. Did you play MLB 06: The Show? I personally consider that the best sports game ever. 08 has a lot to live up to, but judging from the demo I think it's got a shot. :o

It doesnt download while playing....the moment I quit the game it began to go at normal speed again, but these guys jumped back on so now I have to wait some more.

I cant believe how real it sounds.

The Blu-ray disc will be awesome.

Who cares what it looks like, "How does it play!?!?" That is what will give it a "AAAE" or not. I'll have to download it and see for myself.

But hey, if you want to argue this. Sigma is a AAA exclusive (I mean, only on PS3, amirite? Oh, Port? LOL, who cares?)

I mean, Sigma is only on one console. Port you say? Well, tell that to GRAW, its on more than one console, therefore it should not be an exclusive game. But if this game gets AAA status, it deserves to be on the level of GRAW called "exclusive." You don't call this exclusive, GRAW isn't. Pick your choice.

GRAW on the 360 was very unique from the other versions of the game.

MLB 08: The Show will be pretty much the same on all platformers (besides graphics of course). Ninja Gaiden Sigma, while not a port, was a remake with some extra content. Neither of those 2 games deserve exclusive status. GRAW though, does.

I heard it has 10gigs worth of dialogue, can you tell by the commentary in the demo?xTHExJUICEx

Thats why I purchased the PS3 last year for 600 beans, its worth it...

I got a 60GB PS3 on Ebay for $491 beans with 6 PS3 games, 4 Blu-Ray movies, a PSP Game and an extra controller. Now that was worth it.

I got the demo in like 20min.... I was playing UT3 just offline, and it was not downloading, so I stoped playing it.

The game isnt too hard to play. One person throws a ball, the other one hits it with a hunk of wood. Then everyone trys to throw that ball to the base hes running at before he gets there.

ah, sorry. Its a rather Complex game rule wise. I love baseball and I still dont know every last Rule or Pitch.

They have just perfected a baseball game with mlb 08, the commentary was funny as hell when I made a few throwing mistakes, the pitching and batting is perfect, even the crowd is fully 3d and they interact when a ball gets his there way, the graphics and Animations are amazing.

other versions of the games above look almost the same

Just finished playing the demo about 4 times :P, and I have to say its freakin amazing the player movements, the crowd, the graphics, the commentary......MY GOD I COULD GO ON AND ON!

Seriously this has just become a day one buy for me, well my brother will be buying it, Ill be enjoying it :D

PS I read some of you guys where having trouble with the pitching and batting....when it comes to the pitching all you do is press the button that has the pitch you want then use the left stick to move the ball around the screen hold it where you would like to throw the ball, then press x hold it til it reaches its fullest power, release then press x again once its in the middle of the white bar....

For batting, all you need to use is either x or square, square being power hits, x being contact hits....use the left stick to hit the ball in the direction you want to hit it in.

Does it matter that much? Wait...this is SW...I must been high to ask that question.

How about different team making the game. Or different story. Same setting though. And yes a TPS is different from a FPS right?
