Many, many people claim MW2 is a terrible game here on these boards. Many people also claimed prior to release that Battlefield 3 would be something truly special and much better than the CoD franchise. Guess what? Metacritic: MW2 - 94 BF3 - 91 GS: MW2 - 9 BF3 - 8.5 Modern Warfare 2, although being more imbalanced, is the better game by a wide margin. Agreed? The ammo for the CoD haters has run out. They can't turn to GS scores, not to Metacritic scores, not to sales. They have nothing left but their opinion. And we are all laughing.GTAV2012

Goldeneye N64- 96 Metacritic score. So I guess 007 > COD Franchise? I love this type of logic you have of brining up games from the past.

And before you say im a cod hater.. thats nto true, as I own eveyr cod game to date and COD1/COD2 are two fo my fav shooters ever (COD4 was the last good COD game).

BF3 has alreayd passed all the COD games with BF3 imo. Its 100 times better in multiplayer and thats what matters to me.

Take the sales adn reviews, Ill take the game I have mroe fun on thank you very much.

BF3 is pushign the genre forward, COD is just staying the same.

You also seem to forget the USER score for MW2 on metacritic, its below 4/10! lmao!

Customers that actually paid to play the game, score it a 37.

Yup, the first few days I was like "Oh this is not to bad" but as you play more you start to relize how unbalanced and how bad the map design is.

Pay to play? You don't need to play anything to give it a rating.

I dont care if it got perfert 10's and 100's I call something crap when its crap and thats what mw2 is.

For all of MW2's problems at least I never had to spend 20 minutes trying to join games, I find it seriously pathetic that after all the effort they put into BF3 they still can't launch a game without broken servers.bobbetybob

MW2 was extremely unbalanced no doubt but if you liked to abuse broken **** the game was so much FUN!I know a lot people were extremely mad about these pre nerf (actually 2 nerfs beacuse after the 1st nerf you could still use them the same way with one sepecific perk).It was hilarious.

Well yea, that's obvoiusly the problem with MC user-review scores, but all reviews suffer from a similar problem. They stand for nothing except the opinion of the person reviewing them. They are completely arbitrary.

But we know they have played the game at least (at least, considering it comes from a trusted website) rather than some random fanboy giving it a low rating without having played or even fanboys rating too highly, MC has too many trolls, MW2 may not be for everyone buy 3.7 user scores shows it has clearly been trolled.

Sounds like you simply cherrypicked. Now you chose it due to the game being created by Infinity Ward? Why not just average the scores between each series, as that would be a much fairer representation. I'll tell you how it ends, CoD wins out by around .25 of a percent.

Nope, average out the series with all the releases (PC/360/PS3), or any mixture of releases if not on all of the systems. It would be fairer than your cherrypicking.
