Modern Warfare 2 - DLC is ALREADY on the disc

What do you guys think of this? IW hit a new low with this. The content is already on the disc and they will probably charge us for it in the near future.

multiple maps

I'm kind of glad they did bother to release a PC version. Them modders are excellent at poking around and making IW look even worse than they've already managed to make themselves look.

I would like to hear further confirmation of this though before replying with a: "well that's shocking...zzZZzz". But no, this would not be a new low at all. And what he said.^^ People will continue to be ignorant and/or not give a ****.

Well if people manged to make multiplayer for fully single player game like GTA:SA (client-side cheat-fest, but still nice result), this looks like piece of cake.

I am curious if it would be illegal as well. We purchased the content and they are locking us out from it and trying to charge us for it again.

Seriously, does anyone on SW have any legal knoledge or anything?...cause this sort of thing is right up there with theft, I was wondering if it might actually be illegal. And to people who hate on pirates like they're baby rapers...well what do you think of this sort of s**t? Outrageous IMO.

I know a little law and it's acceptable to do what they are doing. They didn't guarantee you any of those features when you paid for it so .. yea.

This game did it before MW2....The special forces units came with the normal game...only to be unlocked after milking....SEGA has ruined Creative Assembly....

I already got tired of Modern Campfare 2. They lowered the aim assists (or so it seems) so now all people do is camp with an M16 or SCAR, or one of those insanely accurate LMGs. Maps are horrible and promote camping, I have no doubt these new maps will continue this trend. What makes games like CS and SOCOM great is that they take skill and camping is not even close to being a viable tactic.

Why did any of you support this abomination? Well, at least they didn't get Agentfred's monies. :P

Before hand milkage is terrible, it's one thing to plan DLC or even have day one DLC you made waiting on the certification process, but having DLC already on the disk means that it was cleared to ship, there's no excuse. Honestly I would rather they just gave it to you 3 months down the line or something separately.

That's not DLC. Gametypes? That's just stuff they will do an update for. Probably things they didn't finish balancing the game for, etc. DLC would be new Guns, Perks, Maps, etc. New Special Ops Missions, New Campaign missions too. Gametypes though? I highly doubt it. rolo107

WOW! this is really low and not good at all. So they will charge us $15 to download a patch that will activate the hidden maps and game modes already on the disc.

I enjoy the game, but DLC? Well, let me put it this way. The only games I have bought DLC for this entire generation thus far are Killzone 2 and Valkyria Chronicles. Modern Warfare 2 ain't no Killzone 2 or Valkyria Chronicles, so I won't be buying any DLC for it.
