The same can be done with the 360 version, just look up the Tales of Vesperia betrayal where a ton of the PS3 exclusive content is already on the 360 disc that was a 1 year timed exclusive.
Not sure if already been stated. But the issue with dlc already on the disk is that supposeably were paying for the work devs do to make extra content for a game. Well if this content is already on the disk, we've already payed for the work the devs did when we payed $60 for the game at retail. So another words we're getting ripped off, plain and simple.
well it's their game not yours...whether you buy it (and by looking at the charts you did) or not is a different story. They can charge a million dollars for DLC thats already in the game and that's their choice. BUT guess what? What I saw was 3 game modes that are half baked and this being another, "I hate MW2 so bad I shake topic".
So they're going to try and sell what we already bought? That's just not fair. That's clearly immoral but IW will surely play it out like "what are you guys talkin bout nuthin wrong here lolz gimmy ur money nao"
Think if I bought a house from a painter, and a month later I wanted red rooms and he then charged me $250 to only go into my house and peel away a wall covering that gave me red rooms would seriously p me off lol. It is truly sad.
Do people fail to realise that this "content" are only game modes? This means there is no content as all it does is open up the rooms with diverent rulesets.
Lame stuff like single flags only bares to the servers rulesets, THERE IS NO CONTENT hence why its so small, it just tells your console that its now allowed to create/join alternate matches
If the new maps in the next DLC aren't the size of Texas like these crappy standard maps I might be too tempted. The maps that ship with the game are pretty terrible for the most part. Which they probably did on purpose.

one problem with that, MW2 for PC is not moddable. Absolutely anything is moddable, even if you have to reverse engineer the exe and proprietary game asset archives. Some games are just easier to mod than others.
I don't see why people are so surprised; Activision is racing to the bottom to see how badly they can screw their customers, and so far they've got the green light.

Well said. I think it was half baked code that was not ready for prime time but the devs thought had merit. Does everyone want a game to end and not have more? When you love a game do you really want a sequel 2 or (GT fans) 5 years later? I wish DLC was around when Star Control was out....

I don't know how credible this info really is considering it's coming from a web-site call "Modernwarfail2.com". I'll believe it when a web-site that isn't dedicated to making MW2 look bad reports this.
