2 years isn't that long. We'll already be on the sixth one, not like anything significant happened to the franchise. Thisis Activision after all :lol:

Now, begins the ignorance of fanboys saying "wow this will be watered down!" "not as good as the 360 version!"

when, just like World At War, it will be exaclty like the 360 version, with 480p graphics that aren't as good, but all the online modes, and now the wii can receive DLC so if they don't include all of the maps that were DLC for the first one in 2007, they can just put them on the Wii shop channel

incase you guys didn't know, activision has gotten rid of friend codes, added online wii speak voice chat, and all DLC works off the SD card on Guitar Hero 5 on Wii, so,............. no friend codes and DLC for the Wii version? So its JUST A GRAPHICAL Difference! and better controls!

This is going to flop (sales wise) so bad. Why release a game most people already have 2 years after the fact...and at the same time a new MW game is comming out! It's like IW and activision is going out of their way to make sure this fails.

That's just Activision. I don't know of any other developers other than maybe Nintendo that re-releases games a few years after they came out instead of releasing new ones.

Square Enix does it rather frequently on the DS.

I was more referring to laziness for making Wii games than anything. Vicarious Visions is actually trying to make a good multiplay Wii game (yeah it's GH, big whoop), and it shows. I respect that they actually try to make a full version of a game instead of a lite version like most other developers do.

Activision's plan to create a larger userbase on similarly-specced hardware might be pure idiocy or pure genius.

Of course online will be worse, but that does not necessarily make it bad. We'll have to wait and see how much worse it is. It could indeed have exclusive modes, such as survival or co-op modes that -- taking into account the heavenly controls - could actually make it as good as or better than its HD brethren. I know it's on the Wii and Activision is publishing it (two bad signs), but it still has potential people are not seeing.

The Wii has freind codes, The Wii is less functional than a 1997 PC in terms of on-line. The online will suck. Hard. Also Different experences? :? This is a PORT not a new game, just an old one with what will enevitably by eye bleeding jaggie-fest Wii visuals, like most Wii games :)
