Wish Capcom did this game for Ps3

They develop for 3DS so they don't have to invest in higher quality tech. The lower the console specs the better for these cheapskate devs. It's not just Capcom, though, it's most JRPG devs that like to use old engines for their games. Hell, just look at Pokemon.

I agree....but even and the Monster Hunter games on the PSP looks better....
Monster hunter freedom unite....on the PSP.

That's monster hunter Tri on the Wii. How do I know so you don't back pedal? I have the game and the weapon he is holding is forged from a monster not in the PSP games. On top of that, Tri has better graphics than that pick to boot :)

As far as I know it was in portable 3 though which was on the PSP. The laggi weapon gives away its tri though.
That's a screen from Tri dipsh*t Barroth wasn't even in Unite.[QUOTE="Shinobishyguy"][QUOTE="AtariKidX"]

as well as the lighting and bloom effectsOne thing that I'm wondering is how multiplayer is going to be handled .
If the game is going to be open ended, does this mean there's still going to be a hub to connect with players?
i think the structure will be roughly the same, but the levels won't be broken into various tiny areas connected by corridor passages anymore. One thing that I'm wondering is how multiplayer is going to be handled .

Looks good to me, I mean it is an open world 3DS game, what do you expect?SaltyMeatballs
Pretty much this. Open world on a handheld? It'd bound to have some uglies. Hopefully they can make the non-rendered distance look better though. I agree that part does look bad.
As mainly a hermit I can't believe I am saying this but people over exaggerate on how bad the graphics are. They seem to forget what 3D playstation games really looked like.RyviusARC
2013 game releases shouldn't be in the same sentence as PS1 in a graphics discussion. Period.
People forget what GFX the PS1 and Ps2 had, this looks much better then most gamecube games. Either way none of the Monster hunter games have ever impressed me with GFX. There pretty hardcore fun experience that sell systems at about half what pokemon does, which could put it on Mario kart levels.

So don't bring the ps1 up. This is miles ahead.[QUOTE="arkephonic"]

The amount of fail you just demonstrated by attempting to bash a game on a nintendo console by trying to pass of a shot from another version of that game from another Nintendo console as a PSP version is staggering.
In the last week you have posted a positive article about the 3DSXL and now this.....
People complain about Monster Hunter graphics? Really? It's the last thing to complain about a Monster hunter game. The best one of the series aka. Freedom Unite looks like sh!t.
Looks like there'll be alot of climbing, running and platforming in this game. Hopefully there're still big enough platform to run around without jumping here and there when fighting monsters, and platforming shouldn't hinder gathering and speed running.
wow, the textures in the nest were ps1'ish Dont really care for MH4 to be honest.. played freedom unite on psp (vita) and the game is too overwhelming.campzor
I think you need a refresh how PS1 games looked like:
And believe me, they looked even worse in motion...

Are you serious? Taking the very worst picture of a game almost a year off even though there are much better ones, and comparing them to completed games with static backgrounds in controlled environments and simplistic characters?[QUOTE="campzor"][QUOTE="nameless12345"]

Nothing wrong with that.[QUOTE="awakeningland"][QUOTE="campzor"]Are you serious?
