March wasn't as great as February, but nonetheless we saw some great games come out for it. Among them, I have (tried) to choose the top 5 that I believe are considered the best of the best for the month of March.

What was your favourite?

Aw you voted too fast, I was going to change Halo Wars to Mad World.

Oh well, didn't see any of them winning the poll though :P

Edit: Nevermind, I was able to change it

MLB 09: The Show. it is ranked higher than Resident Evil 5 both on GameSpot and GameRankings. it is really good. anyone who has played it would probably agree with me

GTA: CW is the best game I've played so far this year.

Empire: Total War. Aside from the rough edges, it's an incredible game.

Maybe I would've gone with Empire, but my PC keeps crashing it, so no.

Wheelman, ****es!
Honestly, this game is hilarious. Especially the bikes.

If that game had no bugs, it would be GOTY so far. :(

RE5 and E: TW are tied for me. The others are boring, overhyped games.

That and the performance problems as well -- after playing Rome, and Medieval 2, the passing time between turns takes normally four to ten seconds. Empire takes 30+ seconds, even sometimes reaching up to a minute. It's unbearable at times.

Indeed. :(

I love the game yet I haven't played a TW game except the Medieval 2 demo. Is the memory leaks and stuff fixed yet? And what's this I hear abotu the game not running well on Quads. I played it at my friend's house and he as a Q9550. :?

Resident Evil 5 for me, was never really that interested in any of the others. It's not quite what I expected but it's still a pretty solid game nonetheless.

There's been a few patches lately, I'm not sure what those have done though since I haven't touched the game in about 12 days. (Not like I'm really counting :P)

I'm running a nice rig (8GB of DDR2 800, SLI GTS 8800 512, Q6600) and even I have run into some serious performance problems. Getting down to the 10 to 20fps in naval battles and large land battles to the point where i've given up and waiting on a large patch like I had to do with Medieval 2.

Creative makes their games way too damn big and try to accomplish way too much. It all works fantastic in the end -- like STALKER -- it just takes a bunch of patches to fix up all those damn rough edges.

That's cool. I still need to buy E:TW. Heck, I still need to play STALKER. I just started PC gaming so my direction is kinda messed up right now.

I have a decent rig, Phenom 9550 and a 8800GT. I am upgrading soon. The demo ran pretty well for me, it was scary because I didn't notice much different from no AA to 4xAA. :P

I'm going on and on at this point.

I don't even like baseball... but MLB:09 the show is in a league of its own. I wish all sports games were modelled after this game. It's truly great and its sad no one will play it because its a baseball game.

RE5 was good... but I beat it fast. And Empire Total War is phenomenal too... I would put Total War right below MLB.

I voted Mad World... I havent played it... but the only other game I'd vote for on that list is RE5 and I hated the demo and this whole 5 dollars for MP thing... so, Mad World it is... it deserves it's vote if for nothing else bringing a mature and violent game to the Wii.

I like MadWorld, but playing co-op games usually adds a lot more to the fun factor, so I chose RE5.

My personal favourite game from March was Men of War (I liked it better than Empire: Total War), but I'm probably the only one on here who has played it.

Out of the poll, I'd go with Empire: Total War. That game is the definition of epic.

Gotta go with RE5, though I did play MLB: The Show last night at a buddy's house, and I was pretty impressed.

I was playing through the RE5 campaign with my buddy online, and despite the game being not scary at all, so far its pretty good.

Personally Mad World. But its was obvious that RE5 would get highest vote count due to the fact two large install bases. That would be my second choice.
