Where are these reviewers? Post a majority # of reviews that say KZ2 is on par with Crysis.

Yes, no one praised FM2's graphics, but they didn't say it looked "atrocious", either, because well it isn't the most stunning game on consoles, or even in 2007 when it releease, it is far from "atrocious". They surely did praise the gameplay, though, which is why it got a AAA score across the board even with the inferior graphics. So yeah, the gameplay is far from "meh". FM is a AAA franchise.

Guys, please stop posting renders and realize that racing games are not about graphics. GRID is a nice example of that. It looks great, but plays like crap. It was way too arcade-ish, and the driving physics sucked big time. Graphics are only there to enhance the gameplay. If the gameplay sucks, the best graphics in the world wouldn't save it.

Adding to my first post, I race karts IRL. You have no real idea what racing is until you have been a part of a pack of 20+ speed-crazy people coming in to the first corner of a race. It's all chaos, yet perfectly controlled. The track blows by you on all sides, and karts are moving in all directions trying to make the most out of it. The thing is, nobody on the track really cares what the scenery looks like, or what the karts look like. When you race, you're only thinking about how to get around the track faster than that bastard in front of you. It feels good when you nail that bumpy flat-out chicane just right, so you can dive down the inside of him into the next turn.

This might be a slightly vague comparison, but racing is about getting a feel for the track and car, and being fastest. At the end of the day, it's not about what game looks best, it's about what game plays best, and feels best.

Why so Blurry?

But hey, its a prologue so imagine the actual game. Forza 3 still looks good though.

Crazy how huge of graphical leap Forza took from 2 to 3.

Two things I've noticed from the youtube vid. 1) There are no people in the stands at this race track. One thing I like about GT5P is in some cases the crowd acts realistically. 2) There are these after images coming off the cars to simulate some kind of blur. Small nit picks but they bother me anyway.Jrfanfreak88

Yup, FM3 = console graphics king IMO. It doesn't get any better than this IMO. A full game that looks better IMO and will obviously play better than a $40 demo.

Wow amazing-the models aren't as good as GT5 or whatever it is on(I don't play racing games or pay attention to them outside of midnight club and burnout) but the environment looks better. I don't know why people are saying WOW SO AMAZING ZOMG...it's a picture..we don't even know if it is in game..it is a racing game..it's great but I am not stunned.AlphaRail

Looks like they still havn't fixed the scenery. That back drop is a photograph, a copy and paste job. With any luck it will just be place holder, but it really isn't that impressive. Mabye I'm just wierd, but I much prefer the enviroments to look fantastic over the actual car models, and neither GT or Forza deliver on that. Compare this to PGR4 and PGR4 still looks better. Looking at all the screenshots for this game you will allways see motion blur to cover up the crappy looking enviroments, or pictures of the road, which do look quite impressive.

Well, they are certainly not going to brainwash me with bullshots.

I want to see some cockpit view/hud outside car view direct screen grabs before I comment on it.

Those pics of Forza 3 looks insane! I'm definitely pumped 4 this game. GT5 looks impressive also.
