used to be 360. but its becoming equal. but seriously people are switching becuase everyday i swear i hear "hey i just got a ps3.. its @#$%ing awesome!"
about even. i can't say one way or the other. but last gen, gamecube was everywhere with a couple ps2s. ive actually only seen an XBOX 3 times in my life
In NYC it's a mixed bag. Friends who like games like Madden and GTA have 360. Friends who care about exclusives mostly go PS3. Then 2 buddies admit they got PS3's for blu ray and have few games or plan on buying more. Seems 360 is the choice for the big name multis with my friends. Three, including me have both. A few have Wii.cainetao11

It's kind of funny though in my country: Here are most people's replies (majority in fact) When someone has an Xbox 360: Ah ok... When someone has a PS3: WOW!!! That's so cool!!! When someone has a Wii: WOW!!! That's so cool!!!
considering my country/island (Malta) is small (approx 410,000 people), it doesnt make any impact in terms of sales, however over here Playstation brand has always dominated including this gen.. You rarely see people with a DS outside, but you see loads with PSP... as for home consoles PS3 is the best selling console here, i believe Malta has the record for fastest selling number (dont expect huge nos its just compared to units : population) of PS3 on lauch day :)

I live in Cali, and 360 is most likely the popular one. So far at least.
Most people I know aren't gamers in the least and with the ones that are it's split 50/50 currently. The ones with a 360 will buy a PS3 when the price drops to $300.
All the nerds talk about at my school is the Wii. I don't hang out with them, but it drives me crazy nonetheless. Sometimes I just have to but in to a convo, tell them MGS4 deserved GotY over Animal Crossing, and watch the ensuing argument :P
i'm not surprised, i always wondered why people would actually bother owning a 360 in the middle east, the heat would kill it in 5 minutes, talk about instarrod
Almost all of my friends HAD 360s but are now changing or have already bought ps3s. And thats because at least 80% of them have had a red ring and/or dont play their 360s anymore.
I have 2 friends that own PS3s and about 7 or more than own 360s. The main reasons they own 360s tho = modded. I've got another friend contemplating a ps3 this summer. Mostly everyone that games at my work has a 360 tho.
I'd say our area is 360 dominated, but PS3 is slowly gettin there.
i know like 15 ppl with a 360. And just 1 with a ps3. I find this odd since the ps3 is on par with the 360 sales here in Holland. But then again, this is just my personal experience.
