What is the most artistic FPS game ever made?
Thanks.

lol, very true.Lol, why on earth is CoD on that list? Every single CoD has been far from artistic.

I dunno, I think it's a valid point. I know its SW law to hate on anything MW, but as much as I hate the online multiplayer, I have to give a nod towards the single player. MW1 and MW2 have some of the best single player experiences you can get for FPSes albeit too short. The first one had its "oh crap! I didn't see that coming" moment that was beautiful and the second one is filled with them.
Seeing Russian troops parachuting over Suburban America is a chilling and strong image.
It's those little thing that make the MW campaigns stick in my mind. So I guess you could call it artistic.Lol, why on earth is CoD on that list? In my 20 years of gaming I've never seen a FPS as artistically beautiful as Bioshock.RyuRanVIIBioshock is beautiful. Rapture is a fantastic creation. I vote for Bioshock too :D
I actually liked the artistic direction of the original Halo....the opening scene on the spaceship was the highlight of the series for me.
the rest of the games felt very eh....too much focus on multiplayer.
I voted Bioshock, but let's not forget Zeno Clash.SparkyProtocol
Seconded and just to get a bit artistic
Don't you just hate that!? I hate how Single player is becoming an after thought. Remember when single player was made first and multiplayer if they had time? I mean look at the MW games. People go on about the multiplayer, but I despise it. I wish they would spend more time on their single player because it is truly superb and exciting.I actually liked the artistic direction of the original Halo....the opening scene on the spaceship was the highlight of the series for me.

the opening to Halo: Combat Evolved was awesome...Definitely a throw back to Aliens,Starship troopers, etc. It actually looked like a Sci Fi game back then. The casual crowd that picked up the game and turned into a shallow multiplayerfest couldn't appreciate the art direction of the original single player game.

That's one of the main reasons why I think that BioShock is a gem, artistic FPS games that focus on single player instead of multiplayer are rare nowadays.I actually liked the artistic direction of the original Halo....the opening scene on the spaceship was the highlight of the series for me.

Finest looking source game, it is. I also enjoy Borderlands. :o
I would've chosen ME if it was actually an FPS. Throughout the entire game, there's only 4 times where you're forced to pick up a gun and only once you're required to fire it.ZPC, followed by Bioshock and Mirror's Edge

Bioshock. I have a thing for the mid-1900's culture and style.
Also, WTF are Call of Duty and Halo doing on there? Their fun, but not artistic.

:o Just reminded my of the paintball cheat in Goldeneye. Anyway, from what ive played, it definitely has to be Bioshock. For an FPS to be artistic, does my gun have to shoot paint? :P j/k
On topic, I guess Bioshock.
