I was wondering which Console controller you find fits your own personal hands the best. Which gaming controller do your fingers melt in to? This is all personal preference so I cannot see how anyone could legitimately bash another person's choice.

My pic is the good ol' Gamecube controller. It's the only controller I know that allows my long piano fingers to wrap completely around the "handles". I also love the grooves on the L and R triggers.

So much room for my fingers! I love those handles!

360 for me. It isn't a large controller, plus it's one of the few where I can actually lay my thumbs out on and still feel fine playing.

I'd say the 360 controller followed closely by both the Gamecube and Dreamcast controller.

holding a controller with both hand is far less comfortable then holding 1 in each hand,

so il have to go with the wiimote

close second would be ps1/ps2/ps3 controler

then mouse

The system might have been a flop but the Virtual Boy controller felt like it was molded perfectly for my hands. From this gen it's close but I'd give the slight edge to the 360 controller, I love the form factor, it's two biggest weaknesses don't really have to do with comfort (d-Pad and battery pack).

Yeah, true. The D-pad of the Duke rocked. But it was a monster in size.

I preferred the Duke in multiplayer games. For some reason I just played a whole lot better with it over the S controller.

Yeah, the Duke wasn't ever a problem for me, cause the size fit my hands nicely. Also the analogs had carved grips so it's less slippery. The S was too slippery

I completely agree with your choice; the Gamecube controller is god-like.To me,none of the controllers this generation have the perfect balance of comfort and button placement like the Gamecube pad.

Looking purely at confort, I think the GC was the best. THe fat handles made it nice to hold.

But I didn't like the button lay out, Overall, my favourite contrller is the Super Nintendo's

For me its a dead heat between the N64 and the 360 controller. I loved the analogue stick placement on the nintendo controller whilst the analogue triggers on the 360 are absolutley perfect for their use.

The ps controller is just more of the imperfect same for me, bad D pad and poor (compared to the competition) analogue stick placement.

For pure feel, ignoring any niggling issues of stupidity in control design, I'd go with N64's. For best design all around (meaning issues of actually control are considered), I'd go with Ps3's, but it's a much tighter race and I can easily understand other choices.

360 and Gamecube, the Dualshock is horrible if you use it after using one of these, it feels like you have to adapt to using it whereas with these you just put your hands on either side and it fits. The Wiimote is also quite under-rated for comfort, the nunchuk is perfectly designed and the Wiimote itself is nice and simple, and feels nice with the condom thing on it.

The 360 one is the most comfortable. It has some flaws but the comfort factor is not one of them.

gotta go with the deathadder, i owned and used a logitech mx518/g5 for years, switched over to the deathadder, wasnt really to sure about it at first, but now i love it, more so than the logitechs

if i had to pick a console contorller though, im gonna have to go with teh original xbox s-pad, it was just perfect, and better than the 360 controller

Either this, or the PS3's. The 'S' fits into your hand perfectly, whereas the DS3 and SIXAXIS have this weird, light feeling of you being able to crush the controller with the palm of your hands, I Love It, keeps me busy when my games are loading. However, the DS3 doesn't creep when you squeeze it, this upset me :(

the wiimote - being split in 2 makes it very comfortable.

I can't believe the mouse is on there. those don't even look like they would be comfortable for many hours.
