Most Epic Boss Fight Ever?

i was playing halo 3 a while back and i just beat it.

and i looked back at the game and thought "WHERE IS THE EPIC BOSS FIGHTS?" all i got to do is kill a cripple nerd robot thingy with a GIANT spartan laser.

sure there is the scarabs but they arent really bosses. more like big veichles you disable then jump off.

So looking back at all the the epic boss fights over the years in diffrent games we so want today( only a few games have actual cool bosses)

witch one was your favorite? decide by : Soundtrack, How epic the fight was, fun, design of the boss.

Mine was the first ridley encounter in metroid 3.

Hmmm, one of my favorites has always been Blizzeta from Twilight Princess.

Yeah she was incredibly hard because the fight required perfect team coordination and communication. A single mistake leads to a raid wipe. Not to mention the fight was also a race against time which made it so epic.

Shadow of the Colossus. The game IS MADE OUT OF BOSS FIGHTS, and nothing else (no enemies, goons, mini-bosses). Devs took their time in making each boss a thrilling experience.Brainhunter

Zeus in God of War 3.

Cthun (WoW) or Ultimica (FF8 )

Any fight against Gilgamesh in FFV. :lol:

Sky Temple boss from Twilight Princess, or the last boss in Phantom Hourglass (1st and 3rd parts).

Most epic boss fights I have done are all MMOs. I remember playing EQ and getting two guilds together plus anyone else that wants to come and having 80+ people on some of the bosses.

Both fights against Liquid in MGS4 were epic.

That sucks, definately the best fight in WoW in my opinion, even edging out C'thun. I can't comment on WOTLK because I quit after kil'jaeden.

Shagohod/Volgin in MGS3 and just about every boss in Shadow of the Colossus (most notably the tall one on the platform in the middle of a lake)

I can never think of a most epic boss fight because everytime I think of a great boss, I think of another and another and so on. The Legend of Zelda, God of War, Shadow of the Collosus and Metal Gear Solid 4 are all of my favourite games for boss fights. The End from MGS3 always has to get a mention for its originality. Ares from the first God of War probably is the most satisfying to kill.

I really liked the Wrath of the Lich King boss fights actually (I did all the heroics and Naxxramas then quit).

Vulcan Raven from MGS1. Everybody always mentions Phyco mantis from MGS1 but in reality, the boss fight itself sucked, and the only cool thing about it was making the controller vibrate, and reading you your gamesaves (woop-dee-doo), Vulcan raven is probably the best boss fight I have ever played.
