Almost all the bosses of MGS4 and Zelda games. I liked Phantom Ganon and Ganondorf of the Windwaker.

lol i just used nikita missiles to take him down :lol:Vulcan Raven from MGS1. Everybody always mentions Phyco mantis from MGS1 but in reality, the boss fight itself sucked, and the only cool thing about it was making the controller vibrate, and reading you your gamesaves (woop-dee-doo), Vulcan raven is probably the best boss fight I have ever played.

GTAIV didn't have much of a boss fight, but the final mission was still exciting and challenging.
(SPOILER ALERT!!!)
The first part was alright, just your basic fire fight with a bunch of Jimmy Peg's goons. But after you chase him through the building and he gets on the boat, then it gets exciting. You ride along the shore on a bike chasing Jimmy as he's trying to escape on his boat, I turn the corner and I see Roman and Lil John chasing him too in the helicopter. That whole segment with the bike, the boat and the helicopter was pretty awesome.
my top 5 favorite boss fights of all time!
5. The Great mighty Poo (Conker BFD)
4. Dr Nefarious (Ratchet and Clank UYA)
3. Hag 1 (Banjo Tooie)
2. Mecha Bowser (super mario sunshine)
1. pretty much any boss in Shadow of the Colloseus
honorable mention: any of the giant boss monsters in the monster hunter franchise.
Haha, the equip it drops sells for so much... I remember the article on Yahoo.com, that was funny.Probably the hardest and most epic would be Pandemonium Warden from FFXI online.
Only been beaten a few times legitamatly, and takes about 18 hours or so.

Nothin like standing a mile away and looking at boss over the building sky-line And knowing that they were scripted and linear as all get out. Shadow of the Colossus was MILES better.[QUOTE="pyromaniac223"][QUOTE="imaps3fanboy"]

Yep, Ill agree %100 on those.
I cant believe I forgot Monster Hunter Tri. Im playing it now and the boss fights much like the PSP games are freaking incredible. Slaying a Rathalos has never been more satisfying.

there might be more epic bosses than this..... but this is the biggest I've done. That I can recall
Onyxia from World of Warcraft. Anyone who fought her back in late 2004 knows what I'm talking about it.
I cannot imagine another boss fight even coming close. (truthfully, WOW has nearly all of my 'top bosses...' but i guess that makes sense since its a game about boss battles).

WoW isn't a game about boss battles. In case you haven't noticed, the game is about level grinding.

That doesn't make sense since leveling up is usually the minority of a players total time played. Player's spend time raiding and fighting epic bosses, like Onyxia (a experience that cannot currently be matched in any game).[QUOTE="Shad0ki11"][QUOTE="Cali3350"]

Man, there are so many Epic Boss Fights, i'm just gonna put some of them.
IMO, the best fight in the entire game, and one of my favorties this gen.
Epic, epic fight, and perhaps the funniest boss battle ever.
At first who didn't believe this battle was a joke, then he looses his wings and OMG...
Among many others.
1) The End (MGS3)
2) Laughing Octopus (MGS4)
3) Colonel Radec (Killzone 2)
4) Gold Sol-Badguy (Guilty Gear X2)
5) Nemesis (Resident Evil 3)
6) Ganondorf/Ganon (Zelda: Ocarina of Time)
7) Almost all bosses from "Devil May Cry 1 & 3" (Couple from DMC4)
8) EVERY boss fight in "No More Heroes"
Everybody keeps mentioning Shadow of the Colossus. I have a PS2 sitting unplugged downstairs...so should I run over to Gamestop ASAP to buy it? Is it that good of a game?

If you know anyone who has the game, borrow it.
If not, go ahead. Note: The game consists of boss fights only.

Is one hell of a game and one of my personal favorites. Just have in mind that it is a game with only boss fights, nothing more than that, but the story, the settings, the characters, the enviroment, the graphics, the scenario, everything is awesome, on the bad side, is a bit short and the gameplay is nothing espectacular, you should get it.
resistance 2's bosses were pry bigger BTW thats pre - BC raid right? This guy
