Most Graphically Perfect/Beautiful Game Ever (any gaming system)

As the title says, whats the most beautiful game ever made? I don't actually know, I havn't seen a lot of what I would suppose are the top contenders, so Im quite curious. Crysis is supposed to be amazing, its too bad as my computer can only run it on "Low", so i can't fully experience the graphics (their pretty average when on the low setting).

Thoughts?

IMO, the Legend of Zelda Wind Waker is flawless in its visual presentation.

At the moment (excluding Crysis), it would be Uncharted 2, then maybe Killzone 2.

You will get a lot of hermits pointing out Crysis.

I think Arma II and S.T.A.L.K.E.R is up there as well.

and also Bad Company 2 if you haven't seen it, its pretty comparable to crysis.

Mass Effect 2's graphics are flawless in every way. It runs at a solid 30 fps constant now. Its so colorful and varied, striking and picturesque. Its breathtaking. But seriously, id honestly give it to The Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind. Its graphics aren't that great, but theres something about it that is so impressively perfect, you cant put it down.

Mirrors Edge, maxed out at 1920x1200 with 8xAA!

I don't know about perfect, but PoP, Gears2, Uncharted 2, BlazBlue, and Bioshock all look absolutely GORGEOUS and are extremely consistent in their graphical fidelity through and through.

I would like to mention TF2 because it has some nice graphics, but it's never been regarded as spectacular or anything.

for it's time, MGS3 looked incredible. as did NGB.

Oblivion with All Natural (combines numerous weather/environment plugins), Qarl's textures, illumination within, screen effects, and several other mods can be one of the most atmospheric and beautiful experiences in gaming

This should be the official system wars thread. It encompasses everything system wars stands for...graphics. If you must have my opinion...Crysis and Mirror's Edge (PC)

Tales of Vesperia is gorgeous. I seriously thought I was in a cutscene when the game first started, but they were the in-game graphics. This is on an SDTV as well. Can only imagine how nice the game looks in HD.

uncharted 2 is the best looking game i have ever seen. i have yet to play crysis

I think both POP sands of time and POP 2008 are beautiful games to look at.

This was among my top 5 games of last gen... i thought nothing came close to the visuals of Shenmue for quite a long time in that generation. It was glorious played with the VGA adapter. Im still convinced the PAL (imported) version of part 2 on the DC through VGA looks better than the XBOX port.

As of today, how can anybody say anything other than Uncharted 2? (Not talking about best of its time, but rather best as of today)

Metroid Prime. I was in awe in the first time I played it.

Yea maybe, untill second gen PS2 and XBOX launch titles came out.

valkyrie profile has by far the best art direction of all time. the initial scene where lenneth is in asgard is unbelievable. no game has ever had such a nice opening since imo. the charcters are also the best-looking ever put in a game (their art, anyway, the sprites were fantastic as well though).

Crysis is still the standard, when it comes to outrageously beautiful in game graphics!

Its a bad pic i know, but i think if you really study this game, you see how beautiful it really is. From walking, running, the water. For a game of its time it stud out! I remember hearing from a conference how games designers looked up to this game for what it was and how perfect its animations were
