Most hermits will not play Bioshock

Because they don't have a PC that meets the Recommended System Requirements, and who wants to play games like this at the minimum?, no one I hope. Can you run Bioshock?

CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo processor

System RAM - 2GB

Video card - DX9 - Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 512MB RAM (NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GT or better) / DX10 - NVIDIA GeForce 8600 or better

Sound Card - Sound Blaster X-Fi series (Optimized for use with Creative Labs EAX ADVANCED HD 4.0 or EAX ADVANCED HD 5.0 compatible sound cards)

This is where 360 wins every time, I don't care if PC gets games like Gears of war or Bioshock, because most hermits don't have a rig that can run it, all that leaves is 360 FTW. So next time people say games like Gears of war and Bioshock are not exclusive to 360, you can laugh at them as most people will not be playing them on their out dated PC's so they may as well be 360 exclusives.

I couldn't care less playing this game at miminum? Why? Because this game was never about graphics and only about gameplay.

You underestimate the PC community by your own skingy experiances (sorry to be so blunt) , but there are more gaming rigs out there than the 3 next gens systems put together.

Familys buy new PC's daily (Dell Alienware) with these now becoming "Standard" 7900s and higher.

Enthusiasts like the PC Gamers of this board and the PC HArdware/PC games boards have already done it, and thats hardly a representation of the PC community in general.

Only thing that's overpriced are video cards.

Since I have an alright machine, I'll be playing this on PC over the XBOX360 version, on my 48" Sharp LCD TV. If you're going to ask which controlling device I'll use, I don't really mind. I can go hardcore with keyboard+mouse, or just play for fun with my 360 controller. In the end, I win!8)

those arent exacly huge requirements....an 8600 is a mid end card.

It is ram hungry....but Ram is very cheap nowadays....

and core 2 duo prices are falling lower and lower, they are very affordable now.

No, Bioshock is not a port. Irrational is working on each version separately.

I doubt there is any hermit who is NOT going to be able to play this game. I just disliked his way of saying that playing this game on minimum is somewhat worse than on recommended. It's like Graphics are more important to a series that invented one of the most revolutionary FPS in terms of gameplay ever.

No, I am going to be getting it on PC, especially because out of my 10 TV's not one is HD (/cry). But you'd be surprised how many people buy 360 games just for achievements.

well I would buy a 360/PS3 muliplate on the 360 for that reason....but its not worth $10.......especially considering that the PC version will get mods.

If you're a hermit, you have a gaming PC. That's like saying "most Sheep won't play MP3, because they don't have a Wii".

Bioshock and Crysis are basically a hermit's dream come true, nobody is going to miss either.

If I was interested in an overhyped single player only game such as Bioshock, I'd play it on my 360 as my laptop wouldn't run the game as nicely.

Thing is though, I'm not getting the game because it looks boring to me :)
