A entire year difference in release wouldnt have anything to do with that... no of course not.

Underrated: Lair. This game was freaking fun and it was not nearly as bad as people siad IMO. A few control hiccups (Namely my dragon dashing forward when I want it to do a 180.) But all in all it was a solid, fun, game. A tad short, but what isn't these days?

Portal. No amount of appreciation you people show will live up to what this game deserves.

Overrated: ....... Warioware came out this year right? If it did then I'm gonna go with Warioware.

Underated : Folklore, Crackdown

Overated - COD4

Over hated on - Halo 3 (it really was an awesome game despite what people who never played it think)

Overrated: Crysis, Bioshock.

Underrated: The Witcher.

Overrated - Halo 3, Crysis, Rock Band, Warioware,

Underrated - Zack & Wiki, Blue Dragon, Metriod 3, Folklore, DBZ: TB2

Overrated: SMG (An alright game, but not the 2nd best game EVAR!!!!!111), Halo 3, Bioshock

Overrated- AC, Halo 3, CoD 4

Why should a game be judged by less than 25% of its content?

The single player is 75% of the content and not everyone has access to the multiplayer. That's why.

Overrated: Halo 3, Assasins Creed, Mass Effect(Bugs were too horrible and the gameplay bored me)

Underrated: Heavenly Sword, Crysis, Metriod Prime, Clive Barkers Jericho (Yes the review was spot on, but it didn't stop me from having fun)

I think MGS4 will be the most over-rated game in the history of gaming. But you know, thats me. So many people will buy it but.. it just won't deliver. Nostradamus told me so.

Over Rated - Halo 3, Mass Effect, Assassins Creed, (Any Rythm game like GH3)

Under Rated - The Witcher, The Darkness, UT3

Overrated: Definitly COD4.. COD2 with added grinding FTW.. I don't get what it is with people and grinding, so many loves it.. (I know many say bioshock here, but reall, I thought that was an awesome game, the atmosphere was simply incredible, never played system shock 2 though..) (Its weird how so few puts TP here considering how bashed it has been, great game though)

Underrated: Europa Universalis, damn I love this game.

Ok how is Crysis overrated according to Gamerankings? 90%? Thats underrated. I think it deserves the 9.5 it got. Anyone saying Crysis obviously hasn't played it. Halo 3 deserves a solid 9.0 so I won't say it is over rated. SMG deserves ever single point it has.

Rock Band is overrated though.

As for underrated, Mass Effect is out because it is high on Gamerankings. The Witcher deserves WAY higher than it got.

On gamerankings if the minimum amount of reviews beforea game isthrown in to the overall rankings was 15 instead of 20 than Zelda:TP is 11th. Gamerankings started in the N64/PS1 era so it doesn't include games earlier than that. So Mario Galaxy isn't the second best game ever it is the game that averages the second best reviews recorded.

Super Mario Galaxy does deserve its score, I just said the stuff above for no apparent reason.

Overrated- Halo 3( i have played it ) Apart from a bit of new stuff it's very similar to Halo 2 but then again i'm not a fan of Halo.

Underrated- Metroid Prime 3 is afantastic game and Crysis

I cant believe how many people are saying Uncharted is overrated. You guys must have never played the game because an 8.0 was a horrible score for this game. it really was one of the best games out this year and its a shame that so many people apparently are not going to give it a chance, oh well, your loss.zeldafan00013

Its quite simple really, if you see Halo 3 as overrated, and then look in underrated and see a plethoria of Ps3 flops, you know its a sony fanboy

I'll give reasons, for Assins creed, I think sometimes, no, I know that outstanding visuals can bring a games score up, even if the game is just OK, assins creed has some breathtaking moments of pure graphical beauty, and alot of repetive play, a good game that was scored slighty to high

Mass Effect : news flash, this game is an RPG, it has technical flaws, I have never played an RPG that was as smooth and fluid as an action game, Zelda is smooth, but that is an action RPG, Mass Effect is much more story heavy, for an RPG the fighting is good, slighty flawed but good, and the RPG bits are out of this world good, an excellent RPG, for RPG fans

Although it is a sports game, I'm gonna say NHL 08 is underrated by the gamers themselves. I understand that hockey is not big on the majority of the sport viewing minds, but this game is polished and feels like hockey, not a crappy arcade, hit everything you see hockey game. Best hockey game IMO sinse NHL 94

i look at mp3's sales and then i look at assassins creeds sales, and it makes me want to vomit. can you guess what i think the most overrated game is :P
