Most overrated game series of all time?

You made the biggest flaw challenging my opinion on Halo being overrated. I don't just make fanboyish claims for nothing. I actually base my opinons off facts.

When you say Halo is overrated, you mean that you disagree with the review scores as whole. If you mean you think it's not the greatest FPS on all time, then you must, logically, say so. I'm not a psychic, believe it or not. If anyone's made a mistake, it's you for not making yourself clear.

Maybe you don't assume and ask questions? After all, this is a discussion board.

Going Commando and UYA are my two favorite games of all time. Your weapons level up and there is a perfect blend of platforming and shooting. I did not like the first one or Deadlocked (no Insomniac Museum?!?!), but SIze Matters on the PSP is pretty good too.

When is the last time you heard anybody said that Halo was the greatest game of all time. Seriously Fanboys. I'll bet if halo was a multiplat game no one would even consider it overated. I mean how can you call a game that's in the top 10 best games overated. Halo is a very good game that deserved the scores :|silentobi

My argument summarized: Bull****. My opinion is the result of my experience and how it fits my preferences. You disagree? Good for you. Now don't tell me why I think what I think.

Final Fantasy. The last one Ithought was great was VI (though IX was pretty good). Once the series moved to the Playstation, it fell off a cliff IMHO. And yet, people seem to treat every new FF game like the second coming. It can stay on the PS3 for all I care.

Exactly, but what I'd like to know is, what kind of a person would you have to be to have an INTENSELY warped and distorted view, and then BELIEVE IT. It's scary.

It was VIII for me. After that, *ppthbt*. Square seems to have lost its touch. Here's hoping XIII changes all that.
