Most overrated system?

I turned from MS and the 360 after having so many problems with my launch 360 and the 2nd 360 I bought..BUT I will say all the 360 hype is not just hype. I dont know anyone in my every day life that even plays PS3 besides me and even I dont play but once a month or so..360 came out as complete junk and everyone supported it RROD and all and didnt care. That says a lot about how great the 360 is OR about how dumb the worlds gaming population is?? 360 is hands down the over all winner this gen in online play and popularity..

I think the 360 is overrated mostly on how much better the online service is more so than anything. I will say the xbox controller and the 360 controller are the best controllers ive ever held.

Don't know why people mentioned the Wii since it's bashed from every angle. I don't think any system is overrated, all of them are appropriately rated from what i've seen..

Dreamcast. Awful system (controller is trash) but supported by die hards.

Well, also, it hasn't actually done anything to change the industry. Xbox Live has online on the console right and great support for the console in software updates. What has Ps3 done? Having just good games doesn't make a great console

No, the PS2 was also a revolutionary console that showed the greatness of Sony. We got the hardcore games, and then we had what would later influence the Wii: games like eyetoy and singstar etc. It's alien hardware also meant the Ps2 aged very well, thus it's longlivity.

Ps3 has a great lineup, but it isn't as great as the PS2's, and it hasn't done anything to change the industry. The ps2 is the console that made gaming so mainstream, and accessible to the masses, so much so that people would just call any gaming console a "playstation"

To this day I still don't have a 360...because in my opinion it still isn't worth the money when you have a gaming PC and a PS3.

A system that barely ever had a life span at all getting tons of hate sounds to me like some people are not honest with themselves. DC is more like a cult hit of a system not anything highly rated. O and yes my Avatar is from a DC game but I happen to have been playing the PC version almost every day even now.

The PS3, great system with best hardware on consoles this gen but fanboys pretend like its the best thing ever made.

The Wii. Casualistation to the max! Even with one or two games, it still is not modern enough and great enough leap from GC to Wii.

That said, it has been making tonnes of money for Nintendo cos of price and marketting and target audience.
Fingers cross for Wii:U though.

Soccer moms and elderly people are playing wii more than I am.
