I hope noone picks Gamespot. They think ridley is a girl and i dont think they are playing on adavnced controls on prime 3. If they flop it for stupid stuff i will never trust them again.

IGN's written reviews are really informative and explicit, without being biased or containing spoilers.

Gamespot are quite strict, although within the 7.0 - 8.5 bracket it can be a bit of a gamble.

For me, it's IGN. Gamespot used to be the site until they changed to the .5 system. There is a difference between a 7.9 and an 8.2. Ever slight, it's A versus AA and now they're ranked the same.

I predict 7.8 for Warhawk from IGN, in which case, I will already have played my fully paid for pre-order to care.

I also said EGM. I like their three person review system. And I can appreciate how harsh they are at times.

I enjoy IGN's reviews the most, however, I also put a lot of faith into the reviews in Game Informer and the ones here at Gamespot.

Edge and GamesTM, they actually use the review scale correctly as in 5/10=average.

IGN. Gamespot underrates and overrates games, *cough* Tony Hawk 3 *cough*, and IGN doesn't.

IGN I've always agreed with their reviews more, but the new review system was the nail in GS's coffin. Reviews like Madden 08 have been ruined. The PS3 version has a lower frame rate that apparently hurts the graphics but it gets the same score as the 360 version. Makes no sense, now does it?

All of them are credible, however, I like to go with the overall collection of reviews worldwide via GameRankings.

I usually agree with IGNs reviews at least 90% of the time, and the reviews are really well written and they explain their reasons for disliking or liking the game extremely well.

*notice no one picked 1UP*

I think that IGN overall has the best reviews, because of the way they are setup... ie., a team specifically for Nintendo consoles, a team specifically for Sony consoles, etc. That gives them more of a familiar look at the games they are playing. That's especially good for a platform like Wii, that is very different from the other consoles.
