I remember paying a lot for pre order of Ultima IX back in i think it was around 1999, i think it was almost 100 dollars, ended up being the worst game ever, bugs and unplayable at launch, and yet EA still is dishing out garbage games to this day. Last game i ever pre-ordered, never again, once you get burned and you never forget. I still can't believe the cancer EA is still around, they release half finish junk.

i guess they have the internet to apply patches to fix the games but its the same broken games, its nothing new.

I couldn't tell you the exact amount but I have entirely too many skins on league of legends. Probably like 3-400 dollars worth. I don't even play anymore so I feel pretty dirty about it.

About 4k on League of Legends.

About 3000 on a vintage sealed game.

Are you rich or do you spend most of your money on gaming? That's a lot.

I make close to 200k a year in the IT field.

@Basinboy@vfighter For those asking the 3k was on a 90 VGA gold of Chronotrigger for SNES.

I have 3 LOL accounts and was in master/challenger elo awhile back. Haven't played as competive lately (decayed down to gold last season from diamond due to inactivity on my main).

Borderlands 2. Bought it on Xbox 360, bought the Handsome collection on Xbox One. And now I got the GOTY edition on PC.

£45 on Final Fantasy VII back in 1997. Which is £80 today. Or in US dollar terms, $75 back then, which is about $110 today.

I lost count with how much I spent on Flight Simulator X.

REX 2.0 was like $35

The Orbx scenery enhancement for select locations was around $100

I have a host of payware aircraft at $30-$40 apiece.

Enhanced airports and events also cost $30-$40.

I've spent probably a bit over $1000 in addons for FSX. Add FSX Deluxe and FSX Gold and my total will be close to $1100. Count my CH rudder pedals and Logitech joystick and the total goes up to a bit over $1400.

I bought a ship for Star Citizen. I wanted to support the game, but I went a little overboard. Got an Aquila.

Like a hundred and something for Batman Arkham Knight with all the DLC.

I'd say Batman Arkham Knight is one of the best bargains I've had in any game. Full game plus season pass and all DLC for £16.99 pre-ordered from a key site. The problem being, it was so bad at launch on PC that I never went back and played it after it was fixed, so not really a bargain after all.

All at once would be $650 through kickstarter for H-Hour Worlds Elite... with the promise of the game coming to PS4. Hailed as a true spiritual successor to the original SOCOM and SOCOM 2 US Navy SEALS. I did get some bonuses though.. Here we are how many years/months/weeks later, and still just a "we are planning on bringing the game to PS4 eventually"....sigh. Man, I would kill for some good old fashion SOCOM style gameplay instead of the crap we have these days. Guess the $650 shows that.. or if not that then maybe the fact that David Sears himself (creative designer of S1 and S2 and early stages of H-Hour) asked if I would join the staff to become a moderator on the H-Hour forums... which I did, and eventually became lead mod and poured thousands of hours of my time into everything you can possibly imagine pertaining to the game. At any time I guess I could just upgrade my PC or just get a new one, but I much prefer console and controllers when it comes to shooters. It is difficult to watch the PC players on maps like Frost Fire, Cross Roads, Fox Hunt, Fish Hook, Kasbah, etc... but I'll just wait it out.. I still have a deep down and distant hope the game will make it to console one day.

Over the course of time would probably be WoW... I subscribed for quite a few years, got all the DLC, and bought several in game mounts and things like that.
