Going on Mars with the massive mountains and canyons that dwarf ours on Earth? I can see it.
Ive seen enough of the game to know that it's a day 1 purchase for me. Pacific Rift was really addictive and with the added features seen in Apocalypse it may just end up being my favourite arcade racer.

Motorstorm takes the xtreme racing stereotype and shoots it full of steroids. The first game was in rough desert terrain. The second on a Pacific jungle island complete with lava flows, etc. The third was a PSP/PS2 game set in the Arctic with avalanches and such. When you think about it, there isn't much else for them to do. So does it get any more extreme than running a race through a city during an active earthquake? lolPacific Rift offline was far better than the first Motorstorm. Online wasn't as good to me because of all the exploits. People used the slam boost feature, glitches in the tracks, flaws in the respawn mechanism, and flaws in the track design to gain advantages all the time. It just ceased to be fun after a while of dealing with that. I hope this is designed in a way that limits the expoits and gets back to the brutal racing.Ive seen enough of the game to know that it's a day 1 purchase for me. So if this is the game that puts "r" back in racers then all other racing games recently were "aces"? :lol:ferret-gamer
