Ive been wondering which has better car destruction between Motorstorm and Burnout. Ive played a little of Motorstorm and can say the destruction is pretty amazing, but i havent seen anything of Burnout. So i want to see what you think has better damage.
burnout was better id say. the crashes in motorstorm were cool at first but got kinda tiresome. i just kept mashing x after every crash. whereas in burnout all the crashes reek of awesomeness.
I dont really put too much significance on damage however I thought motorstorm played a little slow. I played Burnout at my cousins and thought it was better. Thats just me since I am a burnout fan. Also crashing in motorstorm gets a little annoying after a while, same with burnout but the alternate crash cams do add a nice affect.

Burnout have 10x better crashes than Motorstorm, Burnout Paradise is a better game, plus their gonna add new cars new gametype new area for free in the game, and after that they gonna release even more content i have a feeling most of them will also be free, i heard they gonna keep release a new content for atleast 1 years.
Motorstorm had better damage, if the content wasn't so minimal, it would have been an earth shaking game...unfortunetly, it was essentially an amazing 1/2 game at a full price tag.
I dislike Burnout because it takes you out of the gameplay in order to do the damage.thrones
Agreed. That's one of the things I also don't like about Burnout. That and the fact you always have to take your eyes of the road to look at the mini map. Which in turn has you crashing way more than you should be crashing. Which in turn has you taken away from the gameplay way to much.

what do you mean?
When you hit a car at really high speeds in burnout, it takes you into a crash camera for the optimal angle. Cool at first, annoying later.

Yes, but if you hit your buttons, it will bring you back to the gameplay. Hitting a button in burnout will not take you out of the crash faster. You are just stuck waiting on the scene to finally end so you can go back to playing the game.

Yeah they can get annoying, I think the first Burnout had a better system where the crashes were replays :)

Motorstorm 2 will be better than any Burnout game with its 4p splitscreen and fully customizable vehicles and characters. But Paradise is probably a little better than Motorstorm 1.

This is not about what the least annoying, It's which is better. You'd have to be totally delusional to think that Motorstorm has better crash damage. Burnout is ALL about the crash, which is precisely why they focus so much on it.
And yes it can get annoying, especially when you just got knocked out of first place, but that isn't the point. Nbody does crashes better than Criterion.
i guess alot of ppl never played Burnout before, which they need to buy it, i'll tell u what, in Burnout u can't even put a driver in the car because the damage is too high!! thats how good the damage was in Burnout kid! u must be smoking crack to think Motorstorm as better damage.

I bet the biker would consider it massive damage. Anyway I prefer motorstorm just because it's one of my favorite games. Burnout 3 takedown had the formula down pat even with the crashes. Not even seeing a driver in the seat really bugs me with burnout paradise, even if it was to keep it rated E. Plus the cars in motorstorm getting dismembered completely is a treat. I also like how its so crazy afer a crash finishes. Your car will be on its backside with the driver dangling from being buckled into his seat, then you will see a big rig coming steadily in your direction only to smash your car even more...Heaven I tell ya lol
Burnout easily has the best crashes in any game by far... next comes flatout 2... theres some fun ragdoll if you need it.. then dirt.. and lastly motostorm.
