Both have their place. Saying exclusively either way is silly.musicalmac
All I said was both types of control schemes have their place :|
So you are saying that you would actually prefer to play a RTS with a gamepad when you could have access to a mouse and keyboard? The M/KB combo for shooters is a more accurate and well-balanced set of controls, you have the accuracy of the mouse combined with the large selection of bind-able keys of the keyboard giving the player the most freedom and best accuracy.
After playing Prime 3 with the Wiimote combo I wouldn't want console shooters to use dual-analogue control again if it could be avoided, the IR sensor gives consoles the ability to rival PC accuracy.
I never claimed that the KB/M was a all-around "exclusively" superior control device, if you had noticed my earlier post, I pointed out that it is only superior for certain types of games while it lacks for others like platformers, fighters and action games.foxhound_fox

I went with controller as I personally find it the best all rounder (given all genres)
Mouse and keybaord totally owns when it comes to RTS, but I personally think its fails a bit behind a controller in all other genres.
Neither control scheme is universally superior. How could anyone really disagree? So I guess I do'nt see what you're getting at. Feel free to elaborate.musicalmac
