they offer Sony pictures....but I believe Sony gets them first....but the 360 has a better downloadable movie service especially with the ability to stream in HD

With all streaming videos period!!!, it coes to a point where it has to buff, who wants to be watching a movies, get to a good part then you see .......Buffing......

Never happens to me.

Because like the TC demostrated above, he had no clue about the little fee ... I was informing him, like I already said ... sheesh.

W1NGMAN-

the lil fee that doesn't matter for what he is asking about? ...well done

You brought up Netflix as being the better version between the 360/PS3 ... which it is, but he deserves to know that you need to pay 49.99 a year for that better version.

So yes it was well done on my part to inform the TC.

he doesn't have netflix as he stated after...but ehh I'm bored of this

[QUOTE="wolverine4262"][QUOTE="badoutahell"][QUOTE="KukicAdo"]I would go with the PS3. If you're going to stream movies, you'll probably hook it up to your TV in your living room, which is probably far away from your router. So no need to run cables or pay $100 extra. PS3 supports Streaming of HD movies, has its own store, which has plenty of movies, more than XBL's, and to top it all off you get a blu-ray player for the true HD experience. Anyone that tells you otherwise is a fanboy.

i was leaning towards the ps3 from the begining because of the built in wireless. it will be sitting away from my router and wouldnt mind saving that extra $100 for a game or two. but in the end it comes down to the convenience of renting movies and it sounds like ps3 might have what i am looking for. thanks.

so, you pretty much just wanted us to tell you to buy a ps3...okay, go get one.

no, just want to make sure i wasnt making a mistake so i could save a $100 on extra hardware. if every one said the ps3 movie selection sucked and didnt have any new releases i would be purchaseing a 360.

If you plan on streaming or dling HD content, a cable connection would be better anyway
