I'd thought I'd post this seeing how so many people love to hate MGS for its cutscenes so I wanted to let them have some laughs and even those that do enjoy MGS and its cutscenes (me included)

I paid $60 for that long overexagerated blu ray movie that I only playe........I mean watched one time and got bored "watching" after 20 hours. Hell I could have gotten the matrix trilogy on blu ray for less than that.

lots of the hate for mgs games come from people who dont want to take the time to understand the many many twists and turns of the story, seeing as the story has gotten really really confusing to follow over the years, i dont blame it on them, mgs has always been a series thats not for everyone, you love it or you hate it, people who love it should understand why people hate it and people who hate it should understand why some people love it

Even though there's more gameplay than cutscenes.

And after 20 hours you should be at the end anyway.

What's even more funny is that my first play through didn't even last 20 hours....man he must have really sunk his teeth into MGS4.

I wouldn't say awesome. I would say drawn out and pointless. I hated the little girl frying eggs in every debreifing and was laughing during the Naomi's little melodrama...

the cruel reality that the haters face is that not only is metal gear solid the best game, but its also the best movie :lol:

I love that I can't be a MGS fan and dislike some of the things Kojima did with 4. It's an awesome game, just not the best this gen, imo. And taking the game out of the players hands for stretches that long is a bad storytelling move, imo.cainetao11

I like how every MGS fanboy prusumes people hate long drawn out and pointless cutscenes because they just don't understand. There isn't much to understand when the cutscene is long and pointless....
