MP3 SINGLEHANDEDLY justifies the existance of Wii and motioncontrols in gaming

Honestly, I thought MP1 and MP2 were boring, I despise most of the Wiimote heavy Wii titles, but MP3 is without a doubt one of the best games I've ever played, and its pretty much all because of its use of motion controls... Nintendo finally nailed it.

RE4, Wii Sports, and Warioware all made excellent use of the Wiimote, but this game takes it to the next level and well beyond. Pretty much how any gaming fan dreamed fps can be with the Wiimote. Nintendo has proven that it can be done, and that's a major milestone in the existance of this console. Yes folks... Motion control works, and they're fun as hell when they do...when implemented properly,the experience completely rocks. Nintendo has also proven with MP3 that the Wii is capable of delivering solid looking graphics regardless of it lack of power. MP3 has it all.

Yes controls like MP3 would make FPS games better probably, but in terms of justifying motion controls, I don't know. Some genres like fighting can't be done very well for the wii. There's a reason SSBB hasn't recieved so much attention for motion controls, fighting games using moves and combos doesn't adjust well to the wii.

honestly, I'm enjoying MP3 a bit more thn bioshock. Bioshock was too short and got a bit tedious at times.

Wow, i didn't think either was boring at all, though I must confess Echoes was a bit tedious at times when they went overkill late in the game to go from dark world to light, back and forth, back and forth.....

Same here. :P Though actually, after reading the preview on IGN of Medal of Honor 2, they say that the controls are just as responsive as Prime ... and in some cases better. :o But anyways, I agree with you ... I'm not too far in the game due to school but I love this game, and I hpoe we see more quality games like it!

I hated MP1, but I really like Super Metroid so far (about 1 hour in, so not much... trying to find everything). I'm picking up MP3, despite not completing MP1 and not even playing MP2 at all, simply because of the supposed great control scheme. I love FPS (which is why I didn't like the FPA of MP) so I think MP3 just might be the first Metroid Prime game I actually enjoy!

Someone on the first page said that it was better then Bioshock.. I just completed Bioshock, and while I can not see that as being true, if it IS in fact true, then wow... I need to pick up this game FAST!

All motion sensing has proven to do is make games incredibly easy and dumb down every game into a light gun game basically.. Nintendo kind of shoved this crap in our faces when we where perfectly happy with how a normal controller worked. Now every Wii game is basically destined to be easy as hell for the brain dead non gamer.

Besides it doesn't exactly work with every genre motion sensing like a normal controller does. Sure it can make you think an FPS is some how fun(er) to play with but in the end it just because it's different type of gameplay not because it's motion sensing. It will get old and repetative after a few days... When you realize you playing an FPS but with a different controller...
