MS paying for exclusive TV rights....

If there's one thing about Microsoft, it's that they're consistent. They said they would be dominating television, and it seems they're putting their full effort towards doing so.hexashadow13Is there a lower point to start with than Spike?? The "uphill" in their uphill battle is a vertical cliff, then
Is every move MS makes going to be scrutinized from the internet community from now on?percechEverything, everywhere is always scrutinized by the internet. It doesn't make exceptions for things you like.
Does that mean no one else can stream it?clyde46Nah, someone will have Spike TV going through a PC then it will be streamed from there. Actually, that article says that it will still be streamed from the usual suspects. So IGN, GS, GB, GT etc.
Does that mean no one else can stream it?Heil68It's still in the works, but if they fully decide Spike only that would be...words can't describe the amount of wow....
good movie, imo Certainly more entertaining than Sony's E3 is gonna be!
Just kidding, but who knows, E3 has sucked so hard the last few years, hopefully new games/consoles will spice it up

Thank you MS

There goes Microsoft trying to buy attention again. They are seriously just throwing money around and basically TELLING people to like their crap product... lmao
I can't believe some people are still on board this train wreck...

Dodgeball was a pretty good movie. Patches O'Houlahan was awesome. Anchorman: The legend of Ron Burgundy was also pretty great.darkspineslayer
Yes and yes... great movies.
Throw in Dumb and Dumber and Tommy Boy, and you have an all day movie party!!! lol

Well that's not fair. Sony has to sell buildings to help fund their marketing.
holy hyperbole, batman. There goes Microsoft trying to buy attention again. They are seriously just throwing money around and basically TELLING people to like their crap product... lmao

lol... you want to talk about hyperbole?
how about the fact that the word hyperbole is used about as often as pugilist and prestidigitation in every day talk, however has been overused on this site like butt hurt even though 90% of the people here have no idea what it really means...
The way you used it makes absoultely no sense seeing as though what I said is something I can back up with some pretty good evidence...
Do I need to start throwing out all the "billion" quotes Microsoft has been using? They are trying to buy a fanbase, not EARN one from hard work and good business practices.
No hyperbole there... sorry, try again.
However I don't think you actually know what hyperbole means... so I probably wasted my time anyways.
I always here blah blah [XYZ game related thing] exclusive to Spike, but it never is.
Gametrailers is Spike though right? I usually watch theit streams anyway, but this definitely explains a lot of the crap GT has been doing over the past few weeks. Xboxtrailers.coim

Why don't you save all the drama and the butthurt until AFTER E3? You sound just like all the fear mongering news reporters....it's called business and marketing.Seriously? Microsoft pays money for this? This is why I dislike M$.

If you "dislike" Microsoft for this...then you must dislike about 98% of all companies on the planet.
Companies will do whatever can give them an edge over the competition...
This practice is in no way unique to Microsoft and Sony would do the same thing was it not for the fact that they're are currently gasping for air financially.

Wonderful statistic you got there, where'd you get it from? :)
I know what it's called mate, doesn't mean I like it.

What is wrong with you people.... E3 press conferences will be streamed on GT.com (CONFIRMED)... so stop crying

You need a statistic showing you what percentage of companies will try to get an advantage over their competition? That's like asking for a statistic showing what percentage of people in a restaurant would choose filet mignon over rat feces.
If seemingly "unethical" or "unfair" practices turn you off from a company...you shouldn't like Sony either.
It amazes me how people on this forum act like some companies actually "care" about them and their feelings whereas other companies only "care about money".
Hint: They ALL only care about money. Sony is apparently targeting the "core" gaming demographic with the PS4 because it believes it will net them the highest return...not because they sincerely care about making you all happy. Your being happy is simply a side-effect.
Don't misinterpret my statement. I don't think Sony is "evil" and I'll be buying a PS4 within a year of launch because it looks awesome...I'm just not delusional about Sony's true motivations.
Isn't that the same as the last few years? It'll still be online they just have exclusive TV rights, not like any other channel would show stuff like this though is it.bobbetybobin recent years, at least g4 showed the other conferences and had a hell of a lot more and better e3 coverage than spike. g4 is dead now, so spike not committing itself anymore than it did in the past is pretty sad. And why watch the MS conference on TV anyways? everyone with an xbox can just watch it on their dashboard and anyone else can watch the stream on spike's website or someone else's.

Listen little one.
I bring absolutely no drama with me.
Also what in the hell would I have to be "butthurt" over? Do you know what that means either?
Fear mongering news reporters? What in the hell are you blabbing on about? lmao
Bad press is for good reasons most of the time... however, if you have inside news I have not heard.... by all mean please enlighten me. You sound just like the Microsoft fanboys that said "just wait until the 21st!"
I will buy any of the consoles I want. I actually want the X1 to succeed at some point in time... that being after Microsoft is forced to change their policies because too few people bought into their horrible business policies that are trying to corner of the market...
I will buy the consoles that supports the industry the most. So far as of right now, I will be buying a PS4 and at some point a WiiU. If Microsoft changes their policies I will buy an X1 as well. However, if SONY takes a similar path I will not support them either.
I have always supported all gaming companies, however I will not support the decline of the gaming industry because a company that could give a shit less about the future of the gaming tries to force people to conform to completely asinine terms to be able to USE the products we BUY from them.
As I have said many times... it is NOT the console I am not liking, it is Microsoft's policies. So, try to get your facts straight before making assumptions.
Check my game list if you don't believe me...
