It's less about being delusional, and more about being typical PR fluff. You have to remember that they are catering to those uninformed consumers, in an attempt to sway them.

You missed part of the quote. The whole thing reads, "If you are buying a console this holiday, you are buying an Xbox One because you obviously already bought a PS4."

Right now a PS4 is purchased for the hype and the promise. An XBOX One has more exclusives real people want. And I swear to gawd if you post that stupid list filled with indies and esoteric crap I'll send KRAMPUS to your house this Christmas.

@Liquid_: I completed it on Heroic in around 9 hours, a little less. Easy/Normal is piss easy, and is likely where these short run-times are coming from... For obvious reasons. Heroic isn't even that hard... Legendary is a pure nightmare.

They are not delusional, they are execs pimping their product.

Probably spent about 5 hours on heroic co-op with a couple friends and we're only about halfway through the game, 9-10 hours sounds reasonable.

But of course ! I got PoS4 at launch, X1 had no games of interest for me, now it has at least 3 ( GOW1 re, MCC, H5 ) and I got a really good deal on one. So they are not delusional, they are right, everybody has PoS4 already.

That's a bold claim. The sales figures of the PS4 and Xbox One tell a different story.

The biggest games of the holidays are multiplats. Since multiplats don't favor a console, sales compound sales. People are more likely to buy a console that their friends have if the games they want appear on everything. This favors the PS4 since it has a considerable lead and the PS4 seems to be more favorable in the eyes of the general gamer right now due to its impressive early showing.

Meh typical PR crap. Sony does the same thing, although they are sort of silent this year for some reason. Greatness is still waiting I guess.

LOL, no. I don't buy a console only for the present. I take the future into account. The Playstation brand has always had the most steady stream of quality, varied exclusive content across it's 3 consoles and I don't anticipate the PS4 being any different.

Sorry Microsoft, but your console history has not shown this to be the case with the Xbox brand. And Halo 5 is not the most anticipated game of the year...that would be Fallout 4.

That is 100% true actually since I have a Wii U and PS4.
I'm not buying a console this holiday though, waiting for Scalebound and Quantum Break to be out first.

It is the console I will be picking up this Holiday. But I also have a PS4 and a Wii U, so it just seems right. Plus Nathan Fillion is in Halo 5 which gives me enough reason to buy it. Gotta represent my fellow Prarie man from Canada.
