It's a really poor deal. Maybe if they gave you the Xbox and Kinect for free, and charged $15 a month then maybe it would be good.

The deal is Xbox /w Kinect $99 + 2 years of payment plan at $15 a month. $99+($15*24) Total = $459.

If you buy it at retail.....Xbox 4GB /w Kinect in box $299 + 2 years Live at $40 a year (going rate on Amazon) $299+$80 = $379.

Not to mention there are always deals on the 4GB with Kinect. Usually involving at least a $25 gift card, sometimes a $50 card. Heck not that long ago Target had the 4GB with Kinect for $249 plus a $50 gift card.

Seriously, who would buy an Xbox 360? It has no games. Go for PlayStation 3. It's where all the fun and satisfaction is.

Perhaps they will add in enough TV subscription content to actually make it a deal. If not, I guess people both poor and dumb enough to rent-to-own a 6-1/2 year console can celebrate a new way to overpay for things they can't really afford.

Buying a subscription is usually cheaper than buying each monthly increment separately. TC doesn't consider that people find steep discounts as high as 50% for xbox live every year.

It's kind of like when a monthly magazine offers a yearly subscription for $24, but you're able to find each separate issue on sale every month for $1.

The subscription may roll over to xbox 720. You can buy the xbox360 now and still have your gold account if the 720 is released within two years.

This has news about the termination fee.

Pointless IMO. Why get this when you can get a full hard drive for only 200 bucks more?

The termination fee is there so you can't buy a $99 xbox and cancel immediately.

Wow, with this you have to wonder if you will even be able to play games on the Xbox 720 without having to pay Microsoft some weekly/monthly/yearly fee.
