You have to take into account the time frame, flash memory was pretty expensive back when the PS2 launched, i recall buying a 256mb SD card for a camera back in 2002 and it was something like $50. But no matter how you try to put it, a120 GB HDDfor $150 in 2009 is outright laughable, i can get a 500GB HDD of newegg and still have around $60-$70 left over.

Besides Sony allowed 3rd partys to make memory cards for the PS2 so you always had an option, where's the 3rd party HDDs for the 360?

It is dispicable milkage no doubt, but don't think Sony loves you any more than Microsoft does. If Sony was in a better business situation they too would do the same thing.

Smart execs shouldn't have let a faulty system launch, even with a 3 year warranty it's not cool having to send it in almost every other month like i had too. :(

The PS3 launched at £500?? Because i have a link that saysotherwise. And the PS1 launched at £400 ?? Was it not £299 just like the PS2 ??I'm sorry but i can't take you seriously, someone who has to inflate costs and skew facts in order to make a point, is not a person worth debating with.

Edit: That last part is my opinion on people in general and is not directed at anyone in particular.
