They didnt seem to mind when they live streamed the announcement thing, or at E3. Thats kind of a pretty lame excuse.

To me it translates into "We wont be live streaming incase we need to edit out embarassing stuff we dont want the public to find out about too quickly before we can find a way to back track on it". Like Im sure when they do release the video they want a little time to edit out crowd boo's and so fourth like they have gotten before.

So far MS has lost the console reveals and E3. They panicked and had to show off most of their lineup at E3. Now all Sony has to do is announce more games at Gamescom and this gen belongs to them. Nicely played Sony.

MS doesn't want any bad press and they want to avoid at all cost direct with PS4 comparisons,they blocked comments on youtube for a reason,they just want good opinions,and since they are paying some sites to do damage control they want as little bad publisity as possible.

MS actions make no sense.

E3 was a closed event to media and developers and they streamed it with no problems.

Gamescom is an open event to everyone and they dont stream it saying they have to pay attention to devs and media.
