Oh God no, it looks like MS have ripped off the Wiimote and will be showing it off on Tuesday. Banjoe will be the fist Wii rip off title.

I already own a Wii, I don't need another ******* waggle console. I like the 360 controller just fine. If they screw up Banjoe or any other big 360 games with waggle I'm done. If Gears 2 has waggle I'm throwing my 360 in the trash.

If these rumors are true, I hope they don't make the huge mistake of making waggle the only way to control.

It's still a rumor, so don't get over-excited. I honestly don't care if there will be one or not, as long as the 360 controller still is fully supported.

so banjo will use the new waggle remote?!

i guess it could work okay, but i would have preferred to use a traditional controller

i'm guessing M$ forced the change if this is true

I think that would be great. It would mean one of the powerful consoles will also have the option of motion sensing for games which are well suited for it. For example, it could save me having to buy two versions of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

If this ends up as an "add-on", we can expect to be fail. Either the main controller uses it, or nobody makes games for it.

Well color me curious and if true I bet this will be a huge hit though I'm sure Banjo 3 will also work with the traditional controller.

I would love to see a real sweet 1:1 MS waggle controller and Links 2010 & Top Spin 3 as a few games to show it off. :D

Maybe you freak out over nothing ? IF the rumor is true, ALL games will still support the starndard controller, so there is ABSOLUTLY NOTHING to worry about

Now we can all calm, right ?

Funny how different people are. If Banjo has motion sensing than my hype is even higher. I really enjoy the Wiimote.

You mean if motion sensing is even offered you won't bother even though you are permitted to use the traditional controller.

Well it's your choice - just seems odd.

I don't really care as long as it controls well and actually is meaningful, instead of just filler crap that almost every Wii game can/should live without.

Banjo won't have waggle. It'll probably be for the new XBLA title Rare is supposed to be working on.

I don't see the motion controls coming out for a XBLA title. There would be no point for people to buy it. Coming with Banjo they can package it together with the controller.

without a game that makes great use of it and that game having super casual appeal it will fail. Wii sold so well because of wii sports. Everyone wanted to buy it after playing it at your grandma's house. So unless 360 can put a game like that with it....they will fail.

If Gears used it then it would probably be great, the Wiimote is great for shooters its just the lack of power under the hood cripples its potential. I fail to see how it could enhance Banjo though, but look at it this way if you will, thanks to the HDD and updates how hard would it be for older games (shooters would benefit as a said) to have these controls added? I don't think we should all assume the worst, the Wii remote is great and the 360 puts out great games with stunning visuals so why would the two not work well together?

Gears of War 2 - waggle your way to the top ! huh - that could be a true killer app. for the MSmote - no doubt about it ! :D

Gears of War 2supTM/sup

How about using it to some how work with this game.

If so, that would bring all new life to this game and they could probably sell a few million more. :)

The reason I got rid of the Wii is because after working all day the last thing I wanted to do was use motion control, I'll probably be avoiding any 360 games that support motion control like the plague.

U brought up a good point. I kind of hope Microsoft incorporated the waggle controller into games like Gears and Banjo 3. Itll be like self sabotage. But truefully I dont hope that horrid thing to happen upon anyone else. I was a Nintendo gamer from NEs to GCN and i know how it feels for the gameing company you admired to turn its back on you to gain more market share/forget about its hardcore croud. But i heard that Sony is developing a controller just liike Microsoft is. But Microsofts is called the Newton. Sonys is called the Waggle.
