I just tried twice talking to an customer service provider on MS about fixing my 360. Both times I hear loud noises in the backround and can't understand the lady I'm talking to, then all of a sudden the call ends! WTF? I've never contacted Sony's customer service but I've talked to Nintedo's a couple of times, and not once did I ever have this problem with them. :evil:jharv
I've had to call Xbox customer service on more than one occasion and this has never happened to me. I suggest you get your phone line checked.
I had great experiences with MS customer care every time I have had to call them.
Ever considered phone line issues, as that is what it sounds like to me.

The thing is, you shouldn't even have to deal with them in the first place.
I have been lied too twice from MS customer serive.
When I bought my 360 it was because of this deal
The first person told me it was delay but it was on it's way.
The second told me that the deal never existed, even when I gave him the link.
I gave up and just bought the game.
I'm about to go off on this lady, they're "working out this situation" all I got is the RROD I thought I have an 3 year warranty? I bought the system a year and a half ago? WTF?jharv

Before I got off the phone I threatened with legal action because I'm suppose to call back in 4-5 business days. So if this isn't resolved by Wednesday.....
I'm on the phone again, this horrible there are like people chattering in the background i can't hear a thing.jharv
They're chattering because it's a call centre.:| Blame the crappy headsets or small buildings they have to work in, MS fault.
[QUOTE="nevergues"]Man don't get me started on that costumer support, seems that no-one speaks English there...clone01
that's outsourcing for you.
on topic, however, i've never had a problem with either MS or Sony customer support.
MS call centres are all outsources and I've never had a problem understanding them whatsoever. Maybe it's the user who doesn't understand other accents, I've come across many Americans who say they struggle understanding British speakers. So the problem lies with you.

its a problem when i can't understand someone when they have a thick Indian accent, even though i'm used to American accents. how is that my problem? i'd be willing to bet that there are a few regional accents in the states that would have you baffled.
besides, the problem with outsourcing isn't really accents at all. my issue with it is that companies save a buck, and its their won country's employment rate that suffers.

There are plenty of regional accents that would have me baffled. Boomhauer off King of the Hill is undecipherable.
I also wasn't saying the sole blame is with the caller, but that it's not necessarily their english vocabulary skills but rather their accents which are the problem, there's not much they, and to a lesser extent yourself can do about it. We all have accents.
Actually ive had FANTASTIC support from them
My 360s drive was screwing up and i only had 3 days left on my warranty. So to get back to me, they called my house many times, and i was away at work, yet they didnt give up and got to me ASAP so i was still within my warranty
Seriously, thats pretty good service
Man don't get me started on that costumer support, seems that no-one speaks English there...neverguesEVERYONE in India knows English...
I have to agree with firstDiscovery, i've had nothing short of fantastic service from MS support when it came to replacing my old 360 that failed, it took about 5 minutes on the phone to get it arranged for pickup the next day that was done and within 7 days i had a brand new 360 fully working.
All support no matter who can sometimes get a bad apple, it doesn't make the whole companys support crap.
Yeah same here, the people were friendly, they took it on Friday, and it came back on the next Monday, that was really the very fastest they could take when you consider how many working days there were and the fact they needed a single day to fix itI have to agree with firstDiscovery, i've had nothing short of fantastic service from MS support when it came to replacing my old 360 that failed, it took about 5 minutes on the phone to get it arranged for pickup the next day that was done and within 7 days i had a brand new 360 fully working.

Stoner-Pimp
What was even better, despite being a drive issue, they replaced the mobo with the new Opus (Falcon without HDMI), the new CPU as well the new heatsink.
even though sony gets the problem fixed like my psn account, they always have an attitude problem just because i ask them to repeat the question or or i dont know what to do cause they dont tell or help me i tend to try not to have any problem god i hate customer service

I actually had the same thing happen to me toward the end of my call with Zune customer service. Might've been an issue on their end.
