This forum is filled with idiots then the last 2. You guys do realize that MS could make a better and more diverse SSB type game than both Sony and Nintendo when they have rights to around 120 IPS alone, so what?Dr-Brilliant
lol, and MS COULD offer XBL for free like every other game company out, but they don't now do they?
In fantasyland alot of things could be, but in reality you have to deal with what actually is. MS isn't trying much of anything now a days so why defend them?

Those 2 are not comparable, it would be easy to take characters and shove them in one game, then actually using their small first party to make more games in each series individually. XBL is free. XBLG is not. but then Sony has people paying for coupons and not allowing people to keep their PS+ free games unlike MS so they are pretty much about even Mr. Souls fan sig. So again, all you did was show the fact that you had not realize if anybody has the resources to make a near perfect, diverse, balanced SSB clone it would indeed be Microsoft. but they are right, Sony is ripping off SSB for a reason. the only time any real Sony fan wanted anything like it on a SONY console was 2 gens ago. They did this for a reason, and MS see;s why and like them i think the plan is dumb, but unlike MS I have a different reason for not liking what Sony is doing, mostly because of the very high backfire rate.It is sad how Sony does not just take a idea or two from NIntendo but just straight up copies. Sony does not have much this year but lets look at 3 of them and out of 6 games 2 of them were at the Sony conference so they are really banking on them. Sony All Stars=clearly Nintendo rip-off LBP Karting- Clearly a Nintendo rip-off Wonderbook- Used with motion controls that are clearly a Nintendo rip-offCanYouDiglt

it was super innovative really, but best observed in part 1, in 2 they kind of lost their way...but they shouldn't have ditched the franchise. it's not that they have no interest, it has a high backfire factor. Bringing back Blix when Crackdown, Halo 3, Gears, Fable, Chromehound etc. were making tons of money would not have had any impact. Not to mention the failure of the second game adding more losses to the original Xbox. And doing it now would be................. Highly mixed, and hard to do in the first place since they would have to buy someone else to make it.[QUOTE="CanYouDiglt"]It is sad how Sony does not just take a idea or two from NIntendo but just straight up copies. 1. LMAO at you mentioning XBL being free when you know damn well I am talking about playing online.
2. There is nothing even about a rip off service that requires you to pay online and an optional service like PSN+ that offers tons of discounts and free games for signing up.
3. I agree that Sony is ripping off SSB...and it could end up being good or bad...and what? They STILL have alot of other current and new IPs they are seriously investing into to make high quality game experiences for a variety of gamers.
That is the post that seems to escape all the bashers. All Stars doesn't look good to me after the E3 demonstration, but they didn't stop with just making a clone game (for who ever might want it) they still had exclusive high quality games that they invested into. Yes, let's forget about the original XBOX. The XBOX strategy this years was make as many IPS as possible with what they had and also convincing third-party for exclusives as well. Which worked until 2010/ The XBOX strategy last gen? BUY AS MANY companies as possible, offer to pay for exclusives or make game go Cross with money if they do not accept, make as many IPS from an owned studio as possible because Quantity of games is more important. Notice how much the XBOX lost and how many IPS failed financially do to that stupid plan? MS building or buying 3 random companies just for an example, is very high risk. What if all 3 failed to achieve any sales goals? But where higher budget like Crack, Alan, Fable, Forza, etc? That would lose them millions right there. Why do you think Sony is only focusing on success and throwing a sequel plan out and giving the left overs to games like Starhawk and such? Which with more budget and time and SUPPORT AND ADVERTISING would have been better? Compared to the money that Sony lost with this plan, if Sony adopted the original XBOXes plan there would be no Playstation this gen.[QUOTE="casharmy"][QUOTE="Dr-Brilliant"] Those 2 are not comparable, it would be easy to take characters and shove them in one game, then actually using their small first party to make more games in each series individually.

Keep playing and owning something are two different things you're spinning the argument. You still own the game, and when you get games off it, the games stay on your XBOX, and discounts are free XBLG or regular XBOX LIve, same discounts. In PSN+ You keep NOTHING AT ALL, and the only thing it has over XBLG is not locking MP on 99% of the games. yet it does everything else evenly just as bad. paying for coupons, not keeping free games, not keeping anything associated with it, and you have to keep paying and praying hoping that nothing is interrupted because you didn't play, where even XBLG, when your sub runs out you keep everything and you can continue playing that MP game until you sign off of it. The argument is not over XBLG is not shady, but the fact SONY is just as shady with PSN+ pretty much evenly.[QUOTE="casharmy"][QUOTE="Dr-Brilliant"] it's not that they have no interest, it has a high backfire factor. You're whole statement is invalid. You have to realize that when you look at number of PS3 sony hardware ONLY, so not including Playstation Portable or Voita devices, that are currently online compared to the Xbox 360's you will see in both cases, the majority of users are not ONLINE. This means Single Player experiences are still a very high market despite it being the opposite around the 2006 time until around 2009 or so. So if a person does not want to play MP the majority of the time, especially right not currently, you argument holds no weight, it;s now all about opinions. If don't need Xbox Live Gold unless you feel like you WANT MP gaming. You don't need it, and the majority of players are not using it, maybe next generation as it has shown a very quick rise in this current one, but Single Player experiences are still the majority. The thing is that MP is bringing in the most money this generation so every developing group wants to join the party. These include games that have SP focuses, but while MP brings in a lot of money, the majority are still SP focused, and the majority of console gamers are not online. This is why a hit game like Halo, and a few others, offer split screen MP, which has been on decline. On PSN+ if a person wanted to be able to afford games and use the discounts that PSN+ offers as the only way to afford them, they have to pay for the coupons, and if the game came free with a PSN+ subscription it's not free. It works both ways, there's even content you can;t get for some games without PSN+. They are both evenly sneaky. But it's actually starting to hit Microsoft so they might go for a different direction next generation.[QUOTE="casharmy"]

so its now come full circle.. its not longer ripping off a multiplat better on other systems its not ripping off multiplats from its own system/last gen system.
real innovation here..
all i see from sony and its 1st party is an attempt at trying to hook everyone up with cocaiine during hyping in the hopes that you wont see the blandness behind it.
all i see is a familair controller, motion controls to try and stay competitive with far more successful motion control systems, a fugly casing and a tiny game box.
its like a fat kid coated in bling trying to kae up for his tiny c--k he barely ever sees by hoping you will stare somewhere else.
killzone is little more than a collection of everything wrong with fps's today. tired enemies, bland ai, regening HP, aim assist and black on brown visuals.
and im not even claling this a sony specific case tbh.. this whole gen for all systems is pretty losuy.. its like a race for cripples. even if you win your knee is still shattered.
You serious? This game has no similarities to L4D. beyond the mutants.. fugly white guy, weapons, annoying female and the wrecked city scapes.. my apologies this is starting to sound more like a resident evil 4 or 5 clone with chest high walls and no spaniard[QUOTE="senses_fail_06"][QUOTE="ionusX"] why would i be mad of a glamorized L4D clone with no token black guy to laugh at

so its now come full circle.. its not longer ripping off a multiplat better on other systems its not ripping off multiplats from its own system/last gen system.
real innovation here..
all i see from sony and its 1st party is an attempt at trying to hook everyone up with cocaiine during hyping in the hopes that you wont see the blandness behind it.
all i see is a familair controller, motion controls to try and stay competitive with far more successful motion control systems, a fugly casing and a tiny game box.

New question: have you ever played L4D?LMAO so they don't want clones but release the same three games every year? Microsoft are dumbasses. They don't do it because all the characters they could use are Master Chief and a Forza car.kuraimenMicrosoft only releases 3 games every year?
Baffled at some of the idiotic comments made by certain posters.istreakforfood
Elaborate or don't post at all.....
That snarky, arrogant attitude just makes you look more of an ass, than being a Lemming does.
