I can kinda' see where he's going but it can either be good or really really bad and when I say really really bad I mean Kinect and Dancing Family on stage at E3 Bad. And if they actually put a dancing family on stage at E3 I will...I don't know what I'll do.

It doesn't really explain what they mean. Either they're going for a casual audience that involved getting more women into gaming, they're integrating more strong female characters into their games, or they ARE actually saying that women ARE the core gamers. Ok first of all, half the girls who claim to be gamers are fakers who only say that to attract guys because they know most guys find girls who play video games attractive and every guy wants a girlfriend he can play co op with once a while. Not being sexist but being realistic and honest. And It's funny cause with this news Lems at this point who've been defending MS must be thinking "Come on M$ you're killing me here." But I do want to point out that SOny has had a lot of strong female protagonists exclusives. Heavenly Sword, Heavy Rain, That upcoming Quantic Dream Game, Uncharted's Nathan's girlfriends, Meryl from MGS4. So this is something Sony has already been doing. IDK Lems this isn't looking too good.

In story-driven games I think girls, and guys like them equally, but in competitive multiplayer gaming it seems girls don't really make up much of the audience.
