PS3 is a beast of a machine and development for it is the same. Sure PS3 is hard to get into when creating games but with each experience developers begin to notice much more of PS3's capabilities. GTA4 judging by the vast reviews looks better on PS3, the developers of Mercs 2 admit PS3 will be the better looking version and the creators of Ghostbusters say that the game would have had much more going on-screen if the game was a PS3 exclusive. Beginning of this year PS3 has hit back hard after going through all the criticism in 2007 and this year the games coming out will show what the PS3 is all about. I doubt PS3 will be fully tapped till 2010. 360 is a step up from Xbox but the PS3 is a huge leap over the PS2. Difficulty in development held it back last year but this year developers are beginning to feel much more comfortable developing on PS3 and realising the enormous potential the sysetm has, imagine next years games :o

I hear you guys say that the differences are minimal when multiplat games look better on PS3 but that didn't stop you lot from bashing the PS3 last year when multiplats looked slightly better on the 360. The fact is multiplats are now gonna be much better on PS3 due to 360 being fully tapped and PS3 not even near I imagine. Don't get me started on exclusive titles, throughout this year and the next you will see exclusive titles that will make you awe in amazement, likely candidates to do that are FF13, GOW3 for sure.

lol nice, id like to remeind this cow that the main difference between the ps3 and 360 verson of GTA4 is mainly in the pop ins due to lack of install. most of the other stuff is excactly the same or so slightly different that it really isn't worth bothering about in real terms.

Uncharted + Heavenly Sword + R&C3 = Took me 22 hours of gameplay,

and 22 hours of gameplay was > the time it took to play through the Paragon path on Mass Effect.

The PS3 is the best Blu-Ray player in my home, but at over a year an a half it doesn't even rank as a gaming machine.

Whoa now, RE4 might have looked better on Gamecube but it was still a phenomenal looking game on PS2.

I agree with your other points though.
