Multiplayer Splitscreen confirmed for Uncharted 3! (Video)

During the video, there's a tiny fraction of gameplay showing what appears to be split-screen multiplayer. It's rather obscure, although one can easily make out the AK-47 in the top right corner.

Should've seen Halo Reach's split screen setup. Texture pop-ins everywhere, and even character models disappearing into thin air.

Yeah I think that as long as it's multiplayer, it shouldn't be noticeable, since it wouldn't have as much going on as campaign will.

Well, I'm convinced, what conclusive evidence, there's no way this could be anything else, like an editor, or any number of development tools. I'm not saying there won't be co-op but this is hardly good proof...bobbetybob

It could be true as well. ND immediately shut the rumors down the moment the rumors started spreading.

Also some retailers have listed Splitscreen as well (Amazon, Gamestop)

Well we are judging from a low quality video.

ND always polish the game up in the last few months before its released. Same thing happened witn Uncharted 2. After E3, it managed to look even better.

Why are people writing this off like it's useless or "too late"?

The more games that get split-screen, the better, I think. It's a traditional feature that has been tossed aside due to online gaming this generation. Now, developers are steadily re-introducing split-screen for online multi-player. I probably won't use it, but it's great for those who want it. :)

If ND is already testing/implementing such feature so early in development it only means this feature is one of the most wanted/needed ones.
