Must be hard to only have a Wii this time of year...

At the begging of this generation, I threw my lot in with the Wii. I was a Wii only for at least 6-8 months. As time went on, I felt like I was missing out on all the action. As fun as Galaxy, SSBB and Mario Kart were, it felt really shallow. I then bought a 360 and played both consoles for a while and had a really great time.

God of War III, MGS IV, Little Big Planet, reliabilty, free online and backwards compatibility for Ps1/ Ps2 games started to gnaw away at my thoughts.

I sold the 360, which later RROD'd on my friend ( I kid you not ) even though I thought it would never happen to me and sold the Wii because it was gathering dust.

I got the PS3 and finally feel content. I enjoy all the Multiplats and get to play my favorite exlusives.

After looking at the Wii Music review and seeing the selction of games on the Wii at my local Best Buy and Gamestop, I have no regrets about selling my Wii. To those people that own only the Nintendo Wii, you are missing out on the best stuff this generation has to offer. Great online play, amazing muliplats and amazing exlusives.

Notice I didn't compare graphics, because gameplay > graphics. I'd rather own my SNES with 15 classic games then a Nintendo Wii.

After I saw E3...I knew Wii had hit the wall. If it was my primary console, I would be very bored and disappointed. I think we will see the PS3 and Xbox 360 sales soar this holiday season and the Wii will start to lose its steamskinny_man_69

Own all 3. Most satisfied with my PS3, the X-box is ok but come ON I have to BUY most themes! Then the Wii. I haven't touched it since SSBB. Will I sell it... ehhh maybe. I'll keep it but I won't play it as long as the PS3 and 360 work.

I think E3 was a huge Eye opener on Nintendo's Direction (for those that weren't watching to keenly), except for Diehard Sheep. The Wii is great, but too much great mainstreamgam-age (GTA4, RE5, Half Life 2, COD4, etc.) is left out for longtime gamers.

Last Gen, all their money went towards games for Sheep, this gen, their money is divided between Sheep and Nongamers/Casuals. It's good to get some hardcore games from them, but they are coming in between casual stuff.

i totaly agree, last generation i bought a gamecube it was alright for a couple of months then i went and bought a ps2 then the gc got dust until re 4, played my ps2 more then twilight light princes came out playedd that got a 360. now my ps2 and gamecube gather dust.

i gave up on nintendo when the gamecube came out.

there's also Mad World, Fatal Frame 4, The Sadness (??) The Conduit, Tecmo Bowl, a Punch Out revamp, and i believe they just announced No More Heroes 2.

All three companies have their Christmas Lineup ready (M$-Fable 2, GeoW2.)(SONY-Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet, SOCOM)(Nintendo-Wii Music/Wii Resort/Animal Crossing)...meanwhile Games like COD4, Halflife 2, GTA4, RE5, etc. only skip the Wii.

There's a difference. Nintendo's splitting direction for TWO audiences, while Sony and M$, for the most part, concentrate on earning the hardcore/oldschool gamers.

So no, the PS3 is nothing like the Wii. I realize you don't have a PS3, so it was fun to take a shot at it, you must know that Nintendo is different. Is it Better? To Some. My point is it's Different, and you must recognize that.

Or you could say 33.8% of the Wii's games are "good" 7.0+ and 66.2% are below 7. Also, I don't know how many games you used to get your percentage because if I did it would seem a lot better because I would be able to give you a specific number. Nice try though.

But I do agree, in exclusives for the holiday season, Wii lags behind the other 2 consoles. However the holiday lineup is not dismal. There is Animal Crossing, Tales of Symphonia 2, Castelvania Judgement, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Deadly Creatures and the multiplats include Rock Band 2 (With DLC support, same on Wii as on all consoles), Guitar Hero World Tour (Same on all consoles, including DLC for Wii), and CoD: WaW which isn't that bad at all. So it is not the best but it isn't bad by any means. Don't forget how many excellent games WiiWare has recently gotten either.

Theirs more I'm intrested in, but oh well. I'm just so tired on 3rd party developers putting games together in 3 seconds and realsing it. 2009 will be great for both the xbox360 and wii.randomguy15

well yea but it would be 100 times easier to live with only a pc, or 360, or a ps3, even though it would be tough, i could do it. Because not are you only getting the high profile exclusives, your getting the AAA multiplats also that the wii doesnt get. Like if i only had a wii, i honestly would just quit gaming

goes down to personal choice really, if i only had a ps3 i wouldnt be having that much fun as theres barely any games on it that interest me, sure theres a few gems but not enough to warrent a purchase.
