Right off the bat i'm speechless, my heartrate has increased and i am awed by what I have seen. Yes this beats Halo 3. The whole theme grabs me more (basically futuristic Nazis in a gritty private ryan landscape.

By the way I'm an Xbot or whatever you want to call me but as of now I vow when this game is released I am rushing to buy a playstation 3. Just got a pay rise so what the hell!! I'll enjoy what Microsoft and Sony have to offer.

the washout effect is really deliberate to give it a realistic look. Hey in real life do you actually se vibrant colors in battle? Hey go to Iraq and see how colorfull it is hehe! The xbox fanboys loves there shiny plastic looking hero but for killzone i love the grainy look ala MGS . It is more realistic. and again this is just in alpha stage but still it stomps Halo 3, Bio shock or mass effect or maybee on par with crysis. Just my own opinionthedynamite007

I'm no fanboy but i'm really not too impressed by the game, I don't see why everyone is raving on about it. If you take out the gun model (which looks pretty good) then the whole thing just looks average with a big mix of drab textures and semi-decent lighting.

I don't get it at all, maybe the Cows are just so desperate that they are blowing this out of proportion.. I'm not seeing it.

The new Area 51 game looks on par with this imo.
