Microsofts 'timed exclusive' deals are such a useless waste of money and resources to aquire them. Honestly, at the end of the generation, is anyone going to care that one system had something a month earlier or a year earlier than the other system? No. Plus DLC is never as good as fully permanent exclusivity of a game.

on the people saying 6 months is laughable because CoD7 will be out same time as map packs people will be more likely to move over rather than just buying map packs meaning a buttload of lost sales and money.

MS will see it as pay for 30 days have one up for a short period and will make the money back as they sell like crack to a junkie...they will probaby do pretty well and turn a profit and have a little advertising gimmick for a month thats all i think to be honest.

This paid for exclusive timed DLC is just laughable imo.

people who bought the game on other consoles? they may feel penalised for not buying the "right" version in a sense.Also if it is to be true these maps will be released in March on 360 they can see themselves getting even more shafted on the PC with bad company coming out the same month....A total fail if you ask me.

Its possible that its done to create the impression that the 360 is the version to have when playing MW2. While there are many educated consumers there are just as many if not more impulsive ones, that can be swayed by little things. A line like "content a month before anyone else" is pretty pointless, but something along the lines of "the newest,greatest and best content before anyone else" can be a selling point for someone that gets a console primarily to play FIFA and COD.. alextherussian

Microsoft simply has money to throw around. This is how desperate they are.

Why does everyone alwasy assume MS pays for everything? Maybe it was for the fact that more people bought the 360 version? Maybe it's cause it is easier to program for, and will be done first?

Was everything that Sony got first last gen because they paid for it, or was some of it because they were the market leader?

Hope the maps dont SUCK like pretty much all the original MW2 maps
