MW2 Score - OPINION

I believe that MW2 will be a great, polished game for the conole version.

BUt i dont think that it will get 10 here on gamespot, and i believe it will probably get around a 9.3 - 9.7. WHY?

well its the same with uncharted 2, they didnt really bring anything NEW* to the experience, however they did make it so polished and mixed features from other games, that it got the score it deserved.

now mw2 (if by going with the same reviewing logic), isnt really brining anything new to the genre. Great it is brining alot more perks, weapons, but nothing really new, besides "Death streaks", which i believe arent even worth accounting for. However, that being said, MW2 will be great because of its polished gameplay mechanics carried over from MW1. It is an easy to pick up shooter that will bring hours of gameplay. However, if we talk about the single player, they do not deserve a score higher than 9.5. Why? its short, and why shouldnt a game like MW2 get pinned for having a short story like other games have in the past. Or the fact that the engine is the same as the previous one.

now obviously its going to be agreat game, but worse on the PC, i believe it will get the score as i mentioned above.

yeah, thats marketing for you.

There really isnt anything crazily special about this game. however, with the current hype, it will definately get a good score.

Its a 9.0 game.. pretty sure no more than that but it could get an 8.5.. everything is possible

8.5 - If its anything like the original

9.0 - If its extremely polished, yet still like the original

9.5 - If its extremely polished, epic, and IW has upped the bar again in terms of online gaming (new features, etc)

9.0 or higher for sure

I think its gonna get a 9 or 9.5, but a 10 wouldn't surprise me
