MW2 beating GTA 4? This i would disagree with. It has a legit shot at Halo 3 ofcourse. Halo 3 was exclusive, MW2 is on 3 platforms. jg4xchamp

How many hermits are buying Modern Warfare 2? I didn't buy the first one and after playing it, I'm not tempted to buy the second.

I wouldn't be surprised. Modern Warfare is a household name now. Casuals, 10 year olds, pretty much everyone plays it.

While I don't see MW2 beating GTA 4's opening week, I do see it easily beating Halo 3's, I mean come on Halo is an exclusive games VS MW2 being on 3 systems, but hey if any game was going to beat GTA4's opening week it would be MW2 imo.

I don't care if it sells amazing. the fact is the game looks the same old crap,, good story, rehash multiplayer with rehash weapons, and rehash skins etc.Cod sucks now. There's nothing good about it! ODST will probably also sell well but MAG looks better the modern warfare 2 and so does Battlefield 2. Gamers should just rent it, Cod's just overated with lots of rehashes from sequals.
