[QUOTE="foxhound_fox"][QUOTE="soapman72"]Wow..video gamesare deadsyztem

I'm glad you are in the minority and developers don't pander to your interests. Or video games really would be dead.

Gamers are the minority now.

Developers pander to the masses to max profit.

Thank the gods someone else sees it. Gaming isn't at all what it used to be.

I'm never buying another Infinity Ward CoD ever again. While MW3 isn't outright broken like MW2 it's still pretty mediocre. I'll wait to see what Treyarch has in store for us before completely giving up on the franchise as I actually really liked Black Ops.

Honestly I'd take Modern Warfare 2 but with nerfed explosives, nerfed commando lunging, no Nuke, no One Man Army and overall nerfed killstreaks over MW3 any day. At least MW2 had a few damn good maps on it, and the guns were pretty satisfying to kill with and the gun balance overall was really good. And the connection quality + host migration system was the best ever in a COD game on consoles easily(although the voice chat quality was really bad, at least on PS3) It could've been a damn good game, but it just had a few horrible flaws that ruined it for the most part. One thing I have to say is that deathstreaks are the worst idea ever implemented into a FPS game. (At least in their MW2/3 forms, they could find a way to make Deathstreaks ok... for instance deathstreaks like Juiced from MW3 are a good example of a good implementation of deathstreaks since it doesn't help you kill the other team, but it can really help you get out of a spawn trap.... that's what deathstreaks should be for. Stuff like Final Stand, MartyrDUMB, and Dead Man's Hand that gives you free kills is ridiculous. Deathstreaks shouldn't help you just get easy kills without earning them, they should just help you get back in a position where you can earn some kills yourself when your team is getting dominated)

Yeah MW2 when played solely with people you know and under the conditions of not exploiting the horrible game inbalances was actually very fun. But only without the consol auto target (aim assist), that ruined it too.

[QUOTE="arkephonic"]I bet the people that don't like Call of Duty get killed a lot or something online. All the haters, post your stats. I'm not even good at the game, but I usually get more kills than deaths in my games. I think it is fun. People usually don't like games they suck at. I wouldn't say I completely suck, I think I am just good enough to make the game fun to. I would probably be a lot better if I dedicated all of my time to this one particular game online like a lot of people do, but I play different games other than CoD every day.foxhound_fox
I'm sh*t at it and I love it. K/D is 0.67 and win percentage is 39%. Though, now that I'm getting good with the PP90M1, hopefully I can raise it up a little. However, I tend to play for the enjoyment of playing, rather than stat boosting. It is just nice to know where one stands and where improvement can happen. I do also like being able to contribute towards the team, and being fodder (which happens when I try and use the L118A) doesn't help the team. Then again, I'm only level 36, so a lot is probably going to change once I unlock some of the guns I really want (MP7, G18 and Stinger).

I remember when i started cod with mw1, i thought 1.0 kdr was amazing. Now I've been with the series so long. 2.0 is average to me. Keep playing and you will eventually get far better than you would have imagined. Another great featiure is that you can watch over your matches to see how bad you actually were in the beginning and how you have improved. Even though I found mw3 to be a disappointment, i was still very pleased with a lot of things and i had tons of fun with it.
